My husband and I traveled over four hours to purchase a used CR-V from Perfection Honda on Friday. We got there late, the salesman (Fernando) and Jennifer who worked in the Finance Office were accommodating, kind and professional. I felt good about the purchase. My husband and I were asked to come back on Tuesday (yesterday) to get my car detailed and to get a dent fixed on the vehicle (because everyone had gone home by the time we finished up with the purchasing process), which we agreed to do. Over the weekend, we didn't drive the vehicle, we didn't use the vehicle. It stayed parked in our driveway until I opened the trunk up on Monday afternoon to place my overnight bag in the trunk (I wanted to get back to ABQ a day early, so I could have an early morning start at the dealership on Tuesday morning). When I opened it, I was horrified. There were tiny little bugs crawling all over the trunk of the car -- between 20-30 of them. Because I didn't want to drive four hours with beetles in my car, I took a piece of cardboard and scraped them off/out as best as I could. I was SURE that the dealership would take care of this infestation when I showed them what happened on Tuesday morning. They did not. I got so many runarounds, so many backhanded, snide comments, "It's dirty because it hasn't been detailed yet." "I don't know of any dealership that would spray for bugs." I asked over and over for acknowledgment that this was their responsibility, that this was more than a matter of a simple "dirty" car that hadn't been detailed yet, that they would simply try their best to fix it, to address it, to spray my newly purchased car professionally and quickly. I let them know I'd done my research between Monday night and Tuesday morning -- that I learned they were carpet beetles and that they were not easy to kill, and that if larvae were laid then they could come back again and again, and that special spray was usually needed to get rid of them entirely. In the end, the only thing I received was a spray bottle of regular bug spray that can be purchased at Walmart (my salesman did this out of his own pocket, by the way...the dealership refused to acknowledge me, my concerns, or even look me in the eye by the end of all of this). I ended up staying an extra night so they could fix the dent in the car -- which they did, and beautifully so (hence, the two stars). They also detailed my car (it looks nice), though even now I'm not sure an attempt was made to spray for bugs. No one would talk to me when I asked directly about it and no one could (would?) give me an invoice about what "detailing" really entailed. I'm just so very disappointed that no one had the human decency to come from a place of understanding and empathy in this situation. No one -- NO ONE -- would want to buy a car and find it infested with a tenacious bug that is nearly impossible to get rid of. And no one would appreciate a dealership who would allow such an oversight to go unaddressed and uncorrected. I know that what happened to our new car isn't typical, it isn't the norm. But it is in times of "crisis" that we really get to see what businesses and professionals are made of. In this case, the Service Center at Perfection Honda missed the mark entirely. More

I would normally dread calling about car repairs as that is not in my are of knowledge. Chris made me very comfortable and answered all my questions. When he called with the results of the overall inspection, he advised what was needed but did not try to push me into committing that day. I really appreciated that. I don't like a hard sell tactic. He estimated a time for completion of the work and it was done early. Perfection Honda was recommended to me by someone in the auto business. I have never been disappointed and will return for further services. More

Mark serviced our Honda CRV and I saw him going around our CRV after it was washed, carefully drying up water spots on our CRV with a clean buff cloth. Our tires were rotated, oil and filter changed, differential serviced and our cabin air filter was changed. Great Service Coupons, great personal and caring service, careful attention to every detail and a very courteous young man named Mark whose parents should be very proud as he is courteous to a fault! This is not so common in this day and age. Your name says it all: Perfection! Thank you for hiring such courteous and competent employees like Mark. Excellent Service Department From start to finish (the software update only took 45 minutes!), my service rep was great! (Name on my invoice was Michael Lopresti) He greeted me promptly upon arrival, updated my customer record when he found my VIN had inadvertently been entered as another customer, and kept me updated throughout the process. When my vehicle was ready, he explained the process, and let me know when my next service would be - and for what. Very polite and personable - great customer service! Also, I noticed Mike West several times. He was visible and available to his service writers, the customers, and professional at all times. While I miss him as my service rep, he obviously was an intelligent choice for Service Manager! More
