Fernando, our salesman, made the whole process so easy and actually faster than the last time I bought a Honda CRV in 2018. Read all these great reviews. ...not the experience I had. They installed a new (aftermarket) fuel pump/sending unit since OEM version was no longer available. Unit still read full ...not the experience I had. They installed a new (aftermarket) fuel pump/sending unit since OEM version was no longer available. Unit still read full after driving 120+ miles. Took it back - and they said I filled the tank too much and they put 150+ miles on it to test and said its fine. Still defective - as the unit reads only 1/4 of a tank down - no way this gets over 40 mpg when its rated max of 24 or so. And all this for for $1000. Cant recommend at all. Not worth going back. Hondas are great - but the point of failure - is the service. I'll buy another unit and do it myself and use a Youtube video as a guide. This experience makes me not want to touch this brand again as the quality control over technicians is not great. Going German next time. At least the local service at the independent I use for my daily driver is out of this world and worth every penny - as its a bankable fix every time .Note that the Honda Service rep was responsive and good though - so I suspect its a management/business process issue. More
