I visited Peoria Toyotaon a recall. Service Tech. check out my 2008 Tundra. Said needed a new serpinteen belt, also stated it was pricey, I told them to go ahead. Imagine my suprise when I get home and fin out my 2008 Tundra. Said needed a new serpinteen belt, also stated it was pricey, I told them to go ahead. Imagine my suprise when I get home and find I can get this belt for $284.00 cheaper through parts store. Your priceing is totally out of line> I told service rep that I will never buy parts from Toyota again. I feel you really stuck it to me, whith this move. I have purschased two Highlanders from this dealer and have used the service dept for all work on both vehicles for over 4 years. Never had anything but a very positive experience. I was disappointed that the dealership could not repair the DC player which mysteriously stopped working and refused to eject 5 CDs. All they can do is send it away, they know not where, or how long it wo the DC player which mysteriously stopped working and refused to eject 5 CDs. All they can do is send it away, they know not where, or how long it would take. Good luck getting the CDs back in that situation. And it's expensive. The dealership ought to be able to repair these. Google it and you'll find out this is a common problem. And why doesnt my registration with toyotaowners.com work with this site? More
I had a major repair on my Camry. Andrew explained everything thoroughly. The parts were difficult to find however he made every effort to expedite their delivery. I was uncomfortable because I hadn't ever bought a new car before. They made me feel comfortable, no pressure, and answered all of my questions. Went there for tire rotation. Liars, never did it. I proved it to the manager( lady ) she acted like she'll take a hard decision, never did nothing. My Tundra had a recall repair done at the Toyota dealership in Peoria, IL. The employees there were very friendly and courteous. People like me are awry of auto repair people even for a recall repair, which is free. They were on time as promised and offered a loaner vehicle. At the time I was picking my truck up, I was offered to have a car wash. The experience was excellent (seemed to be better than last time I had my truck repaired at this same place). The repair at this dealership is not cheap but not outrangeously expensive. I often remind of myself that I am no longer a struggling college student counting pennies; I am earning six figure salary. Anyway, I never pass the opportunity to save. Having said, a trip to Peoria Toyota is worthwhile if you need to have your Toyota car fixed or serviced. More
I stop in at closing time to view the new IQ, and as I was looking at the IQ Sam came out and asked me if I had any questions. I replied that I did, as I have read several articles with respect to the IQ was looking at the IQ Sam came out and asked me if I had any questions. I replied that I did, as I have read several articles with respect to the IQ but have never seen one before. Sam was very polite and professional, he answered every question that I asked. After answering all the questions he asked asked if I would like to take it for a drive. As it was beyond closing time I was hesitated, however Sam was so friendly I answered sure. We went for a drive and spoke about the attributes of the car. After the drive we went inside to his office he answered more questions. I never felt pressured throughout the entire conversation. He asked if I liked the car, and I said yes very much but needed time to think about it. He was OK with that and asked if he could contact me in the next few days and I said sure. We then spoke a few days later and I purchased the car. This was the BEST buying experience I have ever had. I am 58 years old. I have and will continue to tell my friends of the great experience that I had at Peoria Toyota. My next purchase will definitely be at Peoria Toyota from Sam. I absolutely love my IQ and get tons of questions wherever I go. THANK YOU Sam and Peoria Toyota!!! More
