Worst sales experience I have ever had! Where to begin? We saw an ad online for a specific used vehicle we wanted. We called ahead, but got hold. So we just went. This was Friday night. Where to begin? We saw an ad online for a specific used vehicle we wanted. We called ahead, but got hold. So we just went. This was Friday night. Upon arrival at the dealer, immediately two salesmen moved in. They didn't ask what car we wanted, but swept us into the sales office to pepper us with finance and personal questions to qualify us. Only after prodding did they take us to the vehicle we wanted to see. One of the salesman was on his first day. So it is understandable that he would be in need of coaching and guidance. Not blaming him. It is the dealer's responsibility to properly train and support their new hires. After a test drive, we decided to buy, in spite of lackluster sales. We wanted to pay cash. The F&A office did a tag team on us and tried to pressure us into financing "so you can take the car tonight". We explained we are paying cash and did not want a hard credit inquiry on our pristine credit report. They clearly wanted us to use financing, but relented after our insistence. So we gave a debit card deposit and then agreed to wire the balance and take delivery on Monday. They gave us a receipt for the deposit only. No bill of sale, no statement of amount due, no warranty copy. Nothing. Not a business card, not a phone number. Virtually everyone in sales came by to shake our hands. Really felt like the hard push. Later that evening we requested the exact amount for wire. They sent us a screen print of the balance owed. Fast-forward to Monday. I call and text the only phone number I had for the senior salesman/coach. No response. I call the main number and speak with the F&A person. He told me that we were $2000 short on our wire. My wife has misread the screen print. OK, we will do another debit card for the balance. So I have my daughter drive me up to the dealership and drop me off. I stumble across the new salesman. My car has not been detailed and is not ready. But the F&A department is ready to take my debit payment. Fair enough, but when done, I have to ask for the bill of sale and the warranty. After waiting alone for an hour, with no one checking in with me, the salesman comes out with the keys. We go to look at the car. This is the first look in daylight. I immediately see key scratches which have chipped down to metal. Also, there is a rock chip crack in the windshield. I want this fixed, preferably before I leave. They take the car to the back and bring it back out 20 minutes later. They had buffed out two small door scratches that I had not even discussed. But the key scratch and rock crack have not been repaired. Initially the service manager says I have to talk to sales about it. I give some groans and go into a riff about not paying to have these repaired. The service manager says to come back on Wednesday. What can I do? So I go to my car. No hand off. No set up of phone pairing; no introduction to features; no configuration of NissanConnect; NOTHING. I ended up calling customer support to get my vehicle added to my NissanConnect account myself. Shame on Peoria Nissan for not supporting your new sales people. Shame on the F&A department for not providing documentation to us. Shame on the service department for not taking immediately accountability to help the customer and the new sales person. I am really hoping the car stands up and is not a lemon. I hope I did not make a mistake buying this. Everything about the dealer gave me a bad feeling. I will never recommend this sorry dealership to anyone, ever. Will take the vehicle to a different dealer for maintenance. More

I just bought my third Nissan from Peoria Nissan and the service was amazing as usual. Even with their systems being down due to the national incident, they did exceptional work. Elijah Buch was a phenomena service was amazing as usual. Even with their systems being down due to the national incident, they did exceptional work. Elijah Buch was a phenomenal salesperson, and made a great video of the car I was interested in to start the process. Throughout the purchasing process, Elijah was upfront and honest and easy to work with. While waiting for the financing and paperwork, Elijah kept us up to date on what was going on. Travis Garber did a wonderful job with getting me the best financing deal possible and getting everything switched over from my old car to the new one. Thank you, Elijah and Travis, and thank you, Peoria Nissan. I will continue to be your customer. You are all terrific! More
Not sure where to begin with the people at Peoria Nissan. I initially inquired about a 2024 Nissan Titan I was interested in, but looked locally first to get an idea of what our family wanted and test dr I initially inquired about a 2024 Nissan Titan I was interested in, but looked locally first to get an idea of what our family wanted and test drive. Peoria Nissan was quick to say they'd match my trade in price and get me the price per month I wanted with their "huge" discounts, "wholesale price", etc. After back and forth conversation, I was reassured that it was worth the trip to visit them, hours away, and that my time wouldn't be wasted. Made the trip down and was fortunate to work with "Eli" (Elijah) Buch, an awesome sales representative. Spent good time going over features, models, and did a test drive on the 2024 Titan SV, 4x4, Gunmetal color. I enjoyed this process with him. When we moved to the figures part, that's where things went sideways. The numbers they initially offered, and gave another three times, were ludicrous. Absolutely off base, nothing like we discussed, and I asked multiple times to drop the drama/theatrics- I knew where I needed to be for this deal to happen. Of course, at the last moment, they come back with the "best price" and agree to what was discussed previously. They operate on a "don't ask, don't know any better" model. If you go in and not question the pricing, tactics, etc. you'll never get the actual MSRP. This also included negotiations about the "add ons" that weren't an issue initially and then suddenly became added on to the price. I thought the circus was over. Around hour 4 I finally get to financing after requesting the truck to be cleaned and ready to head back home. After all documents are signed I am the notified that the exact truck that was ready to go wouldn't start and they're perplexed as to why. I am shocked too after committing to this vehicle I'm already given doubts about reliability and quality! No worry they say, they have the exact same model and features and will transfer across everything. Whole detailing process starts over again. *Trucks were dirty from a storm, but honestly the insides looked similar- not sure why they were that way. Now going on hour 8, it is dark, and I walk to the new, "exact" truck promised- Glacier white! Sure enough MSRP is the same, but a completely different agreement on a completely different truck- at this point, they are asking me to take delivery on a truck I didn't get to test drive and not what I selected for a brand new, 2024 model. Needing to go home I made conditional guarantees that all would look good when I check it the next day and bit the bullet on the other color. The "gracious" compensation I was given was a sorry $500 that has yet to reach me- why couldn't this $500 come off of the price after haggling hours on their promised price? (Beware, MSRP prices that don't match their online listings.) As soon as I pull out of the lot, when the truck comes to a stop it feels like a hard shift and lurches the truck forward. I thought this was weird, but pressed on home. Fast forward to today, every time I stop on my brand new 2024 Titan SV 4x4 in Glacier white, it lurches or clunks- only to be told with their new warranty and the extra one purchased that there is "no bulletin or recall" yet. I know this review is long winded, but I had to document as it reflects the experience you can expect from the people at Peoria Nissan. And it's an abysmal conclusion: 1) Nissan's known transmission issues are truly that bad from factory and I don't know what reliability issues I've not gotten myself into or 2) Peoria Nissan knowingly pulled a fast one, under the circumstances, to get a customer to take delivery on a truck that had issues. I'm honestly dumbfounded. I'm now waiting on follow-up from Nissan Consumer Affairs to see what will be done. I'll follow up with what happens, but I would be wary and cautious at Peoria Nissan. On the contrary, Eli Buch, my sales representative, cannot be recommended enough and hope he lands at a dealership with respect. More
I can only give you 1 star that's for the water they gave me, I came in to get a new car that was being priced online for a great price, after they up the numbers on all the add-on (things you don't need and me, I came in to get a new car that was being priced online for a great price, after they up the numbers on all the add-on (things you don't need and I'm sure they don't perform on the car until it's an issue and things I didn't want!) it was way way more then was advertised. Take your business some where else this place only wants to take your hard earned money. More
