Oil changes specials are very reasonable, but like most dealerships, everything else seems really expensive to get serviced. Overall, however, this is the best dealership I've done business with and plan dealerships, everything else seems really expensive to get serviced. I've dealt with 2 other dealerships literally across the street that are no match for Penske Chevy. The service consultants really take the time to fully explain any issues without talking down to customers. More
We purchased a new 2010 Corvette from Penske Chevrolet in the 1st quarter of 2011. Our salesman was very pleasant, but he was not very knowledgeable about the Corvette features (i.e. retractable roof). I c the 1st quarter of 2011. I contacted our Salesman a couple days after we took delivery on the vehicle to inform him the On Star would not activate. Our salesman asked when I would be able to bring the corvette in and I asked if after work would be acceptable and he indicated it would. He explained he would notify service I was coming and it would only take a few minutes for the service department to correct the problem. At the salesman's direction, I proceeded to service where I was told no one was available to work on the vehicle, no one was notified in service that I was coming and the service department had no idea why the salesman would send me over after 5 p.m. A service representative suggested I make an appointment and indicated Penske would provide a vehicle for my use, while they corrected the On Star issue with our new corvette. When I called to make the appointment, I spoke with Ken Scott. At that time, Ken wanted to know when the On Star stopped working and if the subscription was paid. Ken seemed to have no idea that a one-year subscription was included with the purchase of the vehicle and was not aware that the vehicle had just been purchased. On the appointment day, I brought the vehicle to service on my way to the office and I made no transportation arrangements because I was told a vehicle would be provided for my use. Upon my arrival, I was told no vehicle would be provided for my use, unless Penske kept our vehicle overnight. I told them I had not made arrangements for someone to pick me up and I needed to go to work so I would reschedule. I again contacted the service department when it was time for my first oil change and spoke to Ken Scott on the phone. I explained to Ken that the On Star did not work and had not worked since we purchased the vehicle. Ken asked if I had pushed the blue button. Ken asked if the car was running when I pushed the blue button. Ken was very condescending. I also told Ken that the vehicle acted like it was going to die at stop lights and the passenger seat was rattling. Ken asked when I wanted to bring the car in for service. I asked if he was talking about today or next week. Ken said today would be fine. I explained to Ken that I was getting off work at noon and would be there by 12:30 p.m. Ken said 12:30 p.m. would be fine but he suggested I bring the car earlier, if possible. I got off the phone, made arrangements for a ride, left a message for Ken notifying him I was coming and left the office to drive the car to Penske service. The vehicle arrived 15 minutes later at the service department between 9 and 10 a.m. After getting off work at noon, I went shopping and to lunch with a friend and between 2 and 3 p.m. I contacted Penske and was informed they had still not begun work on our vehicle. I explained to Ken again that I was off work and since they had not even began work on the vehicle, I was returning to pick it up. Over 4 hours later the car was still sitting in the service entrance. Upon my arrival, Ken said he was still trying to get it in. TRY TO GET IT IN? Seriously, I made arrangements to leave work, get a ride and rushed over to the service department at Ken Scott's direction and the vehicle sat for over 4 hours. This is the third attempt to get the On Star issue resolved, an issue that should have been tested and working before we took delivery of the vehicle. This is my ninth corvette and I have never purchased a vehicle from Penske in the past and I will never purchase another vehicle from Penske in the future. I will not return to their service department. Their customer service is pathetic. They have no respect for the customer's time. If I make an appointment, I expect work to begin on my vehicle within the next four hours. What does appointment mean? I guess this is an unrealistic expectation at Penske Chevrolet's service department. More
I recently purchased a vehicle from Jered Hart during the tent sale at Hamilton Town Center. Throughout the entire process I felt like he went above and beyond to help. From beginning to end of my latest visit to the Penske Chevrolet Service Department my experience was a good one. As a loyal customer of Penske Chevrolet during the purchase of my last three vehicle, the sales and service department representatives have been excellent. During my service visits I usually stop by the showroom to not only checkup on the latest new vehicles on sale, but also to say hello to the great folks that I have appreciated over the years as a customer. I also appreciate the great coupons and discounts that are sent via e-mail or regular mail that assist in the final total payment for services provided. Thanks again to Jeff Copeland, Andrea Taylor, Scott Stevason and others in the Penske family that continue to make me feel a valued as well as loyal customer since 2002! Bob Tremain More

I drove 280 miles to purchase a 2007 Yukon XL that is a GM Certified Vehicle. I had ask specifically If there was anything arong with the vehicle. The answer was, It is in great shape. The frame and chasis is eat up with corrosin due to road salt damage. They failed to mention it, and then still pressured me to purchase it. Why would a dealership certify a vehicle in that condition? The vehicle is still for sale and still a GM Certified Vehicle. Is this just a Dealership who doesn't care about it's customers or is GM Certified Vehicles standards not up to par. More

We felt no pressure to buy, and received top-of-the-line customer service. We worked with Mike Rolland, who thoroughly discussed all of our options, discussed our concerns, and let us have plenty of time to discuss what we wanted to do on our own. He offered us time to talk, and left us alone for a few periods of time. He was extremely patient with us and very informative. I feel confident we made not only the right vehicle choices, but also the right dealership choice. More
