Sent email by Chevrolet for complimentary software update to use Tesla chargers. Told by sales staff software update isn’t free and would require purchasing the adapter to get update. Agreed to purchase adap to use Tesla chargers. Told by sales staff software update isn’t free and would require purchasing the adapter to get update. I called Chevy EV concierge and they confirmed adapter supply chain issue but confirmed that software update is free. Service rep lied and said adapter purchase was required to provide dealer with a QR code to perform software update. Chevy Concierge confirmed this is not true and that QR code included with adapter is only for downloading MyChevy app. More
