In the past (bought a Bolt on 2017), service my wife received at this dealer was not good and I started going to a dealer in Santa Ana. However; just had a repair done this month and I was pleasantly su received at this dealer was not good and I started going to a dealer in Santa Ana. However; just had a repair done this month and I was pleasantly surprised by the attentiveness of the Service Rep. Though Chevrolet was not able to get the needed part to this dealer after 4-weeks, the Service Rep' found a part marked as excess and started the repair. the part turned out to be defective. But the Service Rep' was able to locate the part in another dealership and the repair was completed. My end assessment is that Chevrolet does not have a good inventory system — but the attentiveness and initiative of the people they've employed make do given the sub-par parts inventory management systems. I brought my Chevy Suburban to Cerritos Penske Chevrolet for a recall (brake), oil change, and tire rotation. They completed the recall and oil change, however, they did not rotate my tires and I was charg for a recall (brake), oil change, and tire rotation. I know this because I mark my left front tire with a chalk mark to ensure rotation is done and done properly. When I picked up my Suburban, the chalk mark was still on my left front tire, indicating that no tire rotation occurred. I have used Penske Chevy in Cerritos for all my service needs the last 20 years. However, due to this incident I no longer have confidence in their ability to service my Suburban properly and/or truthfully and will no longer do any business with them. I notified the Service Manager of this as well as the General Manager of the dealership. Neither one has subsequently contacted me to advise of any follow up or results of any inquiry into this incident at their dealership. This leads me to believe that they are not that concerned about the quality of their service or their commitment to a 20 year customer. More
