Simple The mechanic who tried in vain to diagnose my failing starter couldn't even tighten things he took apart. I was in PA on a roadtrip from MI when my s The mechanic who tried in vain to diagnose my failing starter couldn't even tighten things he took apart. I was in PA on a roadtrip from MI when my starter would fail to work occasionally. Obviously not a good situation while so far from home with my girlfriend and two young ones with me. I thought the best plan for me would be to take it to a GMC dealership not just any random mechanic. Maybe the mechanic was untrained, maybe he/she was having a bad morning. Nottom line is that they could not find a problem. They charged me close to $130 and sent me on my way. Luckily the stzrter failed for goog in my own driveway. I got lucky. My complaint is that the battery cables were loose when I checked tbem and I know they weren't loose before. $125 for that? More
Always good service I have a 2008 GMC HD 2500 diesel truck. My Wife and I are moving to Arizona shortly and will be towing a 34 foot trailer along with us to our new hom I have a 2008 GMC HD 2500 diesel truck. My Wife and I are moving to Arizona shortly and will be towing a 34 foot trailer along with us to our new home. I'm not real secure the dealer I bought it from was 100% truthful stating the work he had done to it. I gave the manager in your truck department a few items to address and asked him to make believe it was his truck and that he was moving to Arizona. What would he do to feel comfortable in the move. He took the ball and ran with it. He performed the work I requested and took the truck out for a test drive and fixed a couple other problems including replacing the serpentine belt which the prior dealer supposedly replaced. I feel as confident as possible in making this 2500 mile trip with a fairly old truck. I only hope I can find as good a dealer in Arizona. Thank you, Joe Bruce More

Exceptional customer care from their sevice department. I took my car to this dealer for an electrical problem that rendered my 2011 Acadia with just over 50K miles unreliable. I had this vehicle into another dealer numerous times over the past 13 months with nothing but excuses and the normal we cant get it to do it while it is here and therefore cannot fix. Jeremy and his team at Penske diagnosed the problem in less than a day and repaired within 48 hours, giving me back a vehicle that I can again have confidence having my family drive. Unlike other dealers, they were not so busy telling me what they could not and would not do, but instead took the action to make me a happy customer. If you are frustrated with your current dealer service situation, I would suggest you give them a try. I am certainly happy I drove the 60 miles for this service. More
Body repair following collision with a deer I bought my Park Avenue Buick new in 2002 (the dealership at that time was Dan Phelps) and have relied on the maintenance services at Penske ever sinc I bought my Park Avenue Buick new in 2002 (the dealership at that time was Dan Phelps) and have relied on the maintenance services at Penske ever since that time.Throughout that time the entire staff has been very friendly and professional explaining potential vehicle problems without trying to sell a service or parts that were not needed. I respect the honesty and skills of the service mechanics. My most recent experience involved front end body work necessitated as a result of a collision with a deer. Management of the body shop was equally friendly and accommodating even suggesting a car rental location. My thanks and kudos to the people at Geoff Penske More

Car Repair I am completely satisfied with the job the service department did on my 2009 Buick Lacurne. They discover the problem which was an oil seep in the engine, they insisted I needed to get the car repaired as quickly as possible. The service department set up the appointment at my earliest convenience. It took them 5 hours to complete and I received the car back in great shape. I cannot express how completely satisfied I am with the service the Penske service department provides. I plan to take my 2009 Buick to them every time it needs service. More
