I was going to just put my key in the key drop that most service departments have. At 650 the guy inside finanlly looked at me and I showed him the key like hey I just want to drop this off. He ignored me . Then this young guy came up on the side walk and was doing something with the stand they have out by the window and I asked him where was the key drop I needed to go. He went back inside and asked one of the guys inside at the service desk. The guy told him to come in and locked the door behind him. This was at 5 till. Apparently your service department missed the class on service. I did not leave my car there. I will find someplace else to have my work done. Had I known that this dealer only has a 2.5 rating I would have not bought from them. I should have known better to have come back after it took 6 hrs for the complimentary oil change the first time . After talking with others at work that bought from there I have found this to be common. You would think Honda motor corp would pay more attention to dealers with less than a 3.5 rating.. Very bad experience here, they are running this business ground but pulling record profits. This dealership is owned by venture capitalist that are only interested in squeezing profits out of the dealershi ground but pulling record profits. This dealership is owned by venture capitalist that are only interested in squeezing profits out of the dealership until it eventually fails and everyone walks away but the owners of the vehicles purchased. I unfortunately purchased a 2005 Honda Civic here with 70,000 miles on it, nothing but trouble. Car was clean on Carfax but turns out it was in an unreported crash and it has flood damage. They masked these problems well, wasn't till I had other problems that mechanics pointed out crash damage under the car and flood damage. When I signed paperwork at the dealership I unknowingly signed paperwork that relieves the dealership of any responsibility they have for covering up problems and lies they told. Don't buy here if you don't like getting taken for a ride. More
We bought a used car less than thirty days ago. The transmission went out two weeks ago and we called the dealer. We have been told someone will contact us and nothing so far, everyone is unavailable. transmission went out two weeks ago and we called the dealer. We have been told someone will contact us and nothing so far, everyone is unavailable. We pressured them for answer today and was told they cant do anything for us. We spend 8K on this car and now it will cost another 4K to fix it. Look at the previous complaints and take note that this is not the first time a transmission has gone up right after they sold it. DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP. I wish I saw these reviews before I did any business with them. More
i purchased a used honda odyssey a week ago and the transmission is gone the car is stuck in second gear. I spent my entire day being given the run around, " i will see what i can do, i'm gonna talk to transmission is gone the car is stuck in second gear. I spent my entire day being given the run around, " i will see what i can do, i'm gonna talk to the used car manager, i will call you back, they are not picking up..." i finally get ahold of the used car sales manager and he said to me that they check and service all vehicles before they are put on the lot for sale, yet when my husband and i checked the transmission fluid in the van we just purchased it was below the first the line low barley had any and all he said was o well it must of leaked out!! there is no leaks in the van we have had it for a week and parked it in the same spot and not one drop... i see now why so many people hav ebeen giving pensacola honda bad reviews! I will not send anyone looking for a car to them! NEW OR USED! More
I purchased a 2006 Honda CR-V from Pensacola Honda on a Saturday, and it broke down the next day, and I was told by Pensacola Honda it needed a new transmission. They told me there was nothing they could d Saturday, and it broke down the next day, and I was told by Pensacola Honda it needed a new transmission. They told me there was nothing they could do about it, and that they were done with the transaction. They will not return my phone calls or emails. This is a 14,000 dollar car with only 80,000 miles on it. More
Changed price after deal struck, by $900 more, I tried to verify the reason they gave me for the additional expense with three other local dealers, all other dealers said it was bogus, but I wanted the car a verify the reason they gave me for the additional expense with three other local dealers, all other dealers said it was bogus, but I wanted the car anyway. Went to my bank to get financed, they called the branch manager three times that day to verify I was approved, but I had to come in the next morning to pick up the check from the bank. 9am - at bank getting check and was called by the dealer "We are sorry to say this, but your vehicle is out on a test drive, if that guy doesn't buy it by noon - the truck is yours." I was flabbergasted!!! We had a deal on the table and a signed purchase order and someone else was driving my truck on a test drive?!?!? AND they had until noon to decide to buy?!?! - Called at noon, other guy wanted to buy the vehicle and they were given until 2pm to finalize finances - WOW, I was blown away. FINALLY I was called to say the other guy couldn't get the money and to come on in with my check - I should have walked away, I know, but I wanted the truck badly - and I wasn't disappointed - the truck was under priced and beautiful - Dealer forgot to get my deposit, and due to the price change, I wasn't sure if I still had to pay one, but three days later finance guy is blowing up my phone (mind you, I am out of town on business in my new truck) and threatening me that the dealership will not cash my finance check, nor pay off the loan on my trade vehicle unless I come in that second with my down payment. I had to get a replacement worker to switch with me so I could handle it - done. I asked to talk to the General Manager when I came in with the check and was told absolutely - when I come in 15 minutes later, no GM - he is out of town - here is the same manager that I have a bit of an issue with. Two weeks later my paperwork is still held up at the dealership and no tag is forthcoming - talked to the lady in registration/tag dept. she has no idea why my paperwork is being held up. BTW - the down payment check was cashed, and cleared three days later and already my first payment is due on loan in less than three weeks - NEVER again at this dealership. More
This was by far the worst experience that my wife and I have ever had dealing with a car dealership. We had a 9:15 a.m. appointment to view a 2011 Honda Accord. As we entered the establishment the recept have ever had dealing with a car dealership. We had a 9:15 a.m. appointment to view a 2011 Honda Accord. As we entered the establishment the receptionist was reading a book and did not even acknowledge our presence. After standing in front of her she finally looks up and asked what do we want. We explained why we were there and ended up waiting another 15 minutes as many salesmen walked past not even giving us the respect of asking if we needed any help. After being frustrated to no end we walked out and a salesman finally chased us outside to our vehicle. The salesman was finally able to get us to change our mind to come back inside to try and work a deal. Understanding how upset we were he brought the sales manager over to apologize and you could tell that it was forced and he didn't want to deal with us. All and all in dealing with the initial entry to the dealership to walking out because they did not want to work a deal on trade or price of the new vehicle we drove another 45 min away from pensacola to Eastern Shore Toyota and paid more money for a different vehicle but received the best customer service one could imagine. This had nothing to do with money but the principal of being treated fair and with some sort of respect which Pensacola Honda truly needs to work on. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone nor will I ever consider dealing with a Honda dealership after this experience. More
Taking advantage of a woman that needed to get to work in a hurry. Finding repairs that did not need immediate attention but service personnel pressed to do them NOW. A warranty item that did not need repair a hurry. Finding repairs that did not need immediate attention but service personnel pressed to do them NOW. A warranty item that did not need repair at all but was given priority over the requested repair. The problem which initiated the need for service was never even addressed. Excessive cost on unrequested repair. Overall passive aggressive tactics in order to increase amount of work performed. Result: Main problem still exists and worsened without repair. Very unsatisfied customer! We were not given the opportunity to check for second opinion and dealership tried intimidation so that wife just went along and approved order. True character of dealership really came through this time... very low corporate values displayed. More
