Due to miscommunication between the sales team and the service team, we were without our vehicle for nearly two weeks. We had only purchased our 2021 Chevy Malibu one month prior to this service request. service team, we were without our vehicle for nearly two weeks. We had only purchased our 2021 Chevy Malibu one month prior to this service request. To our surprise, this vehicle had some sort of leak on the back interior roof but we did not know this until we had a couple rainy days. The back interior roof and back seat was soaked and showed water damage, landing up with what looked like mold! We were really concerned about the safety of breathing this in. After speaking to our sales associate & the service team, we were told to bring in the vehicle and they would take a look at it once they had time. We dropped off the vehicle on June 13th and did not get it back until June 25th. We called to check in on the status over the span of nearly two weeks and continued to get a run around, told it was not Nissan's issue, that we purchased the vehicle as is, even if we purchased the extended warranty from Christian. We were told that it was our issue by service (Jessica) and that we would have to have the back windshield replaced on our own dime. I didn't feel like that was fair and expressed that to her. After being bounded back and forth between several different personnel, I was finally able to speak with the General Manager, Brian Carter. He apologized for the miscommunication and said that it was obvious that his team needed some additional training. While waiting for the vehicle to get a quick cleaning, he went back to check on the status, returning to say it would be completed soon and apologized for my inconvenience. When I got into the vehicle, it was clear that they did not address any of the water damage nor the mold in the vehicle. I counted my losses and just left in such disappointment with Peltier Nissan and their unprofessionalism in the way they handled this matter. More
