I have been trying for over three years to get a second key for my Sonata. I had to pay up front for it special order is what Nolie claimed. Pedder Hyundai left us high and dry with a Sonata engine maintenance issue. Our Hyundai Sonata is burning oil rapidly and after negotiating with corporate they agreed to do a diagnosis. They filled up the oil and told us to drive it 1k miles. When we called for the follow up appointment they told us that they were no longer authorized to do any Hyundai service as they were no longer certified by corporate. Hyundai Corp. is run so poorly that we can't just take the car to another service dealership, we have to start the test all over again INCLUDING the time required to get corporate approval again! I will never go to Pedder Hyundai again and I'm very unimpressed with how disorganized Hyundai corporate is. This should have been easily transferred to Hyundai Escondido or Kearny Mesa. More
Dishonest Service- Stay away. Technician ( Dan) on phone told me the problem I described on my 2012 Sonata (brake lights wouldn't turn off and car wouldnt accelerate properly) would take one day to diagnos told me the problem I described on my 2012 Sonata (brake lights wouldn't turn off and car wouldnt accelerate properly) would take one day to diagnose. He even told me he'd drive me to Enterprise to rent a car. Researched on internet and found it was a known recall which service failed to mention and my husband whose not a mechanic fixed it in 10 minutes with 10 dollar part from Amazon. Should have been performed at dealer for free, but at least didnt give them a day to rip me off. More
