Pedder Hyundai left us high and dry with a Sonata engine maintenance issue. Our Hyundai Sonata is burning oil rapidly and after negotiating with corporate they agreed to do a diagnosis. They filled up the oil and told us to drive it 1k miles. When we called for the follow up appointment they told us that they were no longer authorized to do any Hyundai service as they were no longer certified by corporate. Hyundai Corp. is run so poorly that we can't just take the car to another service dealership, we have to start the test all over again INCLUDING the time required to get corporate approval again! I will never go to Pedder Hyundai again and I'm very unimpressed with how disorganized Hyundai corporate is. This should have been easily transferred to Hyundai Escondido or Kearny Mesa. More
Dishonest Service- Stay away. Technician ( Dan) on phone told me the problem I described on my 2012 Sonata (brake lights wouldn't turn off and car wouldnt accelerate properly) would take one day to diagnos told me the problem I described on my 2012 Sonata (brake lights wouldn't turn off and car wouldnt accelerate properly) would take one day to diagnose. Researched on internet and found it was a known recall which service failed to mention and my husband whose not a mechanic fixed it in 10 minutes with 10 dollar part from Amazon. Should have been performed at dealer for free, but at least didnt give them a day to rip me off. More

Worst Customer Service I called last night to try and make an appointment for my vehicle and the first woman I spoke with was incredibly rude. I was greeted with a HUGE atti I called last night to try and make an appointment for my vehicle and the first woman I spoke with was incredibly rude. I was greeted with a HUGE attitude on the other line saying "can I help you?" ... I politely said "yes, may I please speak with someone to make an appointment" and she said I had the wrong department and that the department I needed had been closed. So she gave me the number for the department to make an appointment. This morning I had called the number she provided and was again greeted with the BIGGEST attitude I've ever encountered when calling a customer service department. I had politely asked again that I was looking to make an appointment. I asked which department I was even calling to make sure I had the right place because she had never mentioned the WHOLE time where I was calling. It was ridiculous. I had meant to be getting ahold of the Poway Toyota, however accidentally called the Poway Hyundai instead. However I didn't know this until I had to ask and she replied with an attitude again. I have never experienced so much unprofessionalism in my life. I have worked in customer service for 8 years and that is no way to have treated a potential customer. I wish I had gotten both of these ladies' names, however they didn't provide it. They never provided any information until I had to ask. I was treated with the worst attitudes and it was a disgusting experience. Even if I did have a Hyundai and was intentionally trying to get service done at the Poway Hyundai location, my interaction with your customer service staff would have definitely driven me away to look for service elsewhere. When I got the right number for Poway Toyota, they answered with a friendly "Hello, thank you for calling Poway Toyota Customer Service Department, How may I help you?" Now, THAT is how a professional facility should operation. I hope that you look into who is working your customer service and put them through intensive training on how to respect and talk to customers correctly. There was no professionalism and I would never take my service there. I would give 0 stars however there was no option for that. Customer Service is about Friendliness, which there was none. More

They are your best friend prior to sale and dont care for you at all afterwards. To all car shoppers do as Chris told me take you business down the road to the other nearby dealerships. More
