Our experience with Poway Dodge/Jeep dealership however was a pleasant one in 2016 when we purchased my daughter’s first new car. We therefore chose to not shop around but go directly to this dealership. Once again, our purchase experience was stress-free and comfortable. David, one of the sales reps was helpful and accommodating and we were not made to feel insulted during the price negotiations. It would be difficult to now try to purchase a vehicle at another dealership. More

Won't Honer Their Word Had an awful experience with these guys. I saw an add for a deal at Jeep in Huntington Beach but since I live in San Diego, I wanted to give the deale Had an awful experience with these guys. I saw an add for a deal at Jeep in Huntington Beach but since I live in San Diego, I wanted to give the dealerships the chance to match HB'S price. On Saturday, I test drove the car, told them the price and went to dinner. That night I was texted that they would accept the offer. I was stoked! The next morning, I asked the salesperson to verify the amount and gave him the price. He said they were a bit off but come on down to make a deal. Of course not! I have no reason to pay more for the same car. Should be simple. I finally got the price out of them and it was $1,400 higher than Huntington Beach. I told them there was absolutely no way I would pay that difference. Had I known I would have woken up early and went to HB to buy the car that Sunday. Now my Sunday car shopping day is lost because it's too late to drive up to Huntington Beach. Monday comes and they are still trying to work me. At this point I told the salesperson that I will not pay a penny more than HB. A few hours later, offer was accepted. I'm happy again! I told him I couldn't come that night but that I will make it the next day. Now it's Tuesday. I go over there ready to buy my car and take it home. Salesperson tells me that part of the deal is that I have to use their financing. Wasn't previously told this but no big deal as long as it's not more than my bank. It was. AND, the car comes with something called LoJack and I have to pay for that in addition to the car. The payments equalled $100 more a month for 72 months!!! Naturally, I was frustrated and beginning to walk out. This is a ripoff, plan as day. Just before I left, the sales manager (or whatever he was) lowered it to "only $50 more a month" than my own quote. I said no. He was like "are you seriously not going to buy the car over $50 a month?" Of course not!!! We had a deal and this was not the deal. He then asked me to sign a paper that I would accept a lower off. Um no. What the xxxx is he thinking?? I'm not signing ANYTHING unless it's the price we agreed upon prior to my arrival. They were simply trying to sucker me in and make me pay more. I should have just gone straight to Huntington Beach. They lost the chance for me to go to any other dealership in San Diego and I have to wait for the weekend to get the car in Orange County, IF IT'S NOT SOLD. By the way, $50 a month for 72 months equals $3,600 per month. This is why people hate salespeople. This is why people hate shopping for cars. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! More
Thanks Tyler Howard I met Tyler when I first stepped into the office area. After a brief description of what I was looking for we went out to the lot. Once there we looke I met Tyler when I first stepped into the office area. After a brief description of what I was looking for we went out to the lot. Once there we looked and looked. We test drove and test drove. Tyler’s patients was very apparent and appreciated. Unfortunately the truck I had been dreaming of wasn’t in the lot. They did a search and could have the truck there tomorrow. That was absolutely fine with me. Anything to get the exact truck I wanted. I went back the next day to pick it up. Unfortunately it wasn’t the perfect truck for me. I debated on just taking it because it was 90% the truck I wanted. After some internal debate I broke the news to Tyler that this wasn’t the truck I wanted. His reaction was fantastic. He simply said OK let’s sit down and find the exact truck you want. We went over the details again. He went and did some research and came back with 2 options. I chose the one I really loved. The truck was in the lot the next day washed and ready to go. This is the truck of my dreams. I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face. It was an arduous 3 days but I left an extremely happy customer. Thank you Tyler for understanding how big of a decision buying a new vehicle is to people. You went out of your way to insure my happiness and satisfaction. More
