The first car dealer I've been to in my life that flat refused to allow us to look inside a new vehicle without first giving them my driver's license. My wife & I went to Pearson Toyota on 2/4 to loo refused to allow us to look inside a new vehicle without first giving them my driver's license. My wife & I went to Pearson Toyota on 2/4 to look at a Rav4. When I told the salesman we are in the early stages of looking for a new vehicle and didn't want to go for a test drive yet, he replied it was company policy and immediately copped an attitude with us. He said he "had to put us in the system" before he can show us a car. Need I say we left immediately? When I called the sales manager later that day, he gave me the old worn out line "Oh, he's a new salesman". The manager not only didn't apologize but asked "What do you want me to do"? I've been a Pearson Toyota customer in the past but rest assured I won't be again. It's obvious the customer comes last at Pearson. More

We were a current 2005 Prius owner with over 100,000 miles on our vehicle. We were considering purchasing a newer generation Prius model. We should note that we were and are very pleased the reliability miles on our vehicle. We were considering purchasing a newer generation Prius model. We should note that we were and are very pleased the reliability and performance of our 2005 Prius but if we could get a reasonable trade on a clean 2010 we would make the trade. I contacted Pearson Toyota via the Internet and immediately received a reply from their Internet manager regarding our inquiry about one of their 2010 Prius III models they had on their lot. After a few email exchanges we set up an appointment to see the vehicle and talk about the business side of a purchase. We were very pleased in all areas. Our sales representative and Internet Manager, Ms. Robertson addressed all of our questions – technical and financial. We felt that she was very knowledgeable about the features of the Prius line and Toyota vehicles. She was courteous and friendly in her conversations as well with our price negotiations. We feel that our Prius purchase experience was very positive because of Ms. Robertson’s experience, professional bearing and desire to address our purchase needs. We would highly recommend Ms. Robertson as a Toyota representative and Pearson Toyota in Newport News, Virginia. More
Everyone we talked to was very helpful. Brenda worked with my husband over the phone and in person helping us find the car that was perfect for us at a price we could afford. She was very personable, eas with my husband over the phone and in person helping us find the car that was perfect for us at a price we could afford. She was very personable, easy to talk to, and very willing to work with us to find the perfect car to fit our needs. She even helped with our children, finding them puzzles and treats- just making sure that they were happy too which made the whole process easier for us. She was awesome to work with- even if she's a Steelers fan :) We love the new car. Thank you!! More
Service Department does not keep it's promise in allowing customer to pick service team. Instead tries to pass off to some express team where 3 people would have their hands involved w/ working with your ca customer to pick service team. Forget it...I would rather have one person & then if there's a problem, you know who created the problem. Not going back. More

I intended to buy a new Toyota Prius V with a Trade In, from Pearson Toyota. When dealing over the Internet with Brenda I found her evasive and sneaky when trying to get a Price or deal over the internet. from Pearson Toyota. When dealing over the Internet with Brenda I found her evasive and sneaky when trying to get a Price or deal over the internet. She kept insisting on inspecting my 2010 Honda Pilot Touring before she would provide other then the MSRP. I guess they have plenty of Fish out there to catch and dont need my business. More

I bought my first Toyota at Pearson's in 2000 and I found them easy to deal with and have enjoyed their service as well. This Fall I was checking around on the computer for a good deal on a Highlander and f them easy to deal with and have enjoyed their service as well. This Fall I was checking around on the computer for a good deal on a Highlander and filled out the information for a quote for all the dealers within 50 miles. Brenda Robinson got back to me in minutes and sent me all the information about the Highlander and quoted me the price she could offer it at. Other dealerships did not respond or they responded the next day with other options! I later changed my mind about which Highlander model I wanted and Brenda once again sent me the latest information and price quote. She called me and kept me in the loop while she and her staff worked together to get me a 2011 Highlander that would fit my needs even though there were very few in the three state area. She was a pleasure to work with! She offered me a fair price and made it all very easy! After the deal was complete she sat in the new vehicle with me and showed me how to operate all the new features. It took us some time but she did not leave until we got the bluetooth set up and working, the navigation was explained and practiced as well as setting up some favorite radio stations etc. I went back in to pick up my plates and Brenda helped once again to get the plates put on even though she was handling three other buyers at the same time. Brenda is more then a car salesman she is a friend! More
