I had bought a tailgate extender off a guy for my Tocoma. He had all the hardware but didn’t have the template to where to drill the holes. I thought that Persons Toyota will have them laying around I’m sure He had all the hardware but didn’t have the template to where to drill the holes. I was a little upset until the parts guy (Tony Vanes) took his time to help me with this problem and he found some instructions as well as the template. Now I can put my extender on right thanks to Mr. Vanes More

Worst service center in Toyotas book of business Brought my 2017 Tundra in for routing maint (tire rotation, oil & filter). Made an appointment online. Had to prove I made an appointment by showing the porter the email I received as confirmation. OK, no problem. Tells me to go to the end office and Nicki will be right with me. Sure, so far so good right. Well 30 minutes later, no Nicki. Other service advisors where grouped together playing on their phones and too busy to be bothered so I went to the front reception lady (very nice and friendly) to ask her to page Niki. Well Niki isnt here is the response I get. Why send me to an open office where no one is working? Decided Ill just do my own service since I have a road trip tomorrow. Bought 1 filter from the service guy (great service - if you buy 3 filters you get 1 free btw) and paid the cashier (also great service). Went to Walmart and bought 2 - 5qt containers of Mobil 1 5w-20 syn for $22 each and headed home. (Mobile 1 has a $12 rebate on 5qt containers right now btw) Might as well do it yourself since Pearson Toyota could care less about servicing your vehicle. Found my keys in the open office and grabbed my truck off the back lot. Looking at the other reviews from this dealer, I can understand why the service center is barren. Worst service ever. Guess Ill take my Tundra, Tacoma and Land Cruiser to another dealer from now on. This one is written off forever Toyota customer care has already received my complaint and Ill be moving on to the region rep next. They have a roped off Supra btw if you are in the market. Just take it to another dealer for service. More

He took down all the information and said he would contact me when the car arrived. I was looking at a 2020 Supra Premium 3.0 with Driver Assist Package. He informed me I would have first right of refusal. I knew there would be many months before Toyota began shipping and was ok with that. Received call on 8/3/19 that the car had arrived. Visited the dealership the next day and was ready to close the deal. When shown the "money" page it contained a $10K markup. Some negotiations later and no change to price. Was told they had called other dealers and they were doing the same thing with the ADM, some even higher. Apparently a long time, loyal customer of both sales and service, meant nothing. I hope they find a sucker that will pay that mark up of $10K. I wish them luck. I will not be returning to this dealership. I guess they forgot the old adage, "It takes years to earn a customer, it takes seconds to lose one". More

Alyx contacted right away with all the information and a great price. Very professional and polite. We were not planning on going that far to get truck. But glad we did. My wife has said many times how this was the best experience because of how she handled the process. The only complaint is that she was not our salesperson once we got there. But the guy who helped us did a good job. We will be sending our friends and coworkers from Chesapeake to Alyx and Pearson in the future. Thank you guys again and we love the Tacoma More
Excellent dealership with great service personnel I and my wife have been long time customers of Pearson Toyota. We have three Toyotas between us. We have always received good service from Pearson, but our service quality rose several notches when we started dealing with Larry Cardwell. From the start, he has always gone above the normal level of service to make sure our repair and service needs were met. Whenever we have needed to get our cars in for service on short notice or we have needed a problem looked at right away, he has always responded by creating an opening if possible for us or made sure whatever problem we had was resolved and that our vehicles were returned to us clean. We have had nothing but exemplary customer service from him and we always go out of our way to make sure we deal with him when we bring out vehicles to Pearson. More
Screw Had serpentine belt replaced and when I drove home the Air conditioning was no longer working. I looked to see if fuse was blown, the screw in type 1 Had serpentine belt replaced and when I drove home the Air conditioning was no longer working. I looked to see if fuse was blown, the screw in type 100 amp fuse was missing. My wife is out trying to find the two metric screws that clamp the fuse in. Let me tell you, it was very hard to remove the plastic box from the housing. I finally replaced the bolt in fuse in the rain and my AC still won't work, the clutch is engaging , they must have messed with another part of the system. Bless those that steal from you. God bless you Pearson!! Go to Pearson if you want to take a loss and have them break systems so they make more money. Minus 5 stars is a better rating. I chose to recommend them thinking this automated system would delete my review if No was picked. More

I live quite near a certain "no haggle" dealership. Had a really bad visit there years ago, but tried them again a couple of weeks ago. I had exchanges with a salesperson and he told me he had the car I was looking for. When I got there, found he did not. I did not appreciate being lured there with an empty promise. All other toyota dealerships around gave me "red flag" feelings (pushiness, false promises, etc.). Pearson happened to have the car I wanted, and I am glad it was Pearson I purchased from. Worked with Alyx (internet manager) and Lyndon (salesperson), and had a very stress-free buying experience. Lyndon has a calm confidence about him that made me feel secure and valued. I would buy from this dealership again without question. More
