From start to finish A few months back I came to Pearson Toyota As i pulled up I was greated by A young man, couldn’t believe it at first, he looked to be in his early twe A few months back I came to Pearson Toyota As i pulled up I was greated by A young man, couldn’t believe it at first, he looked to be in his early twenties introducing himself as a salesmanger ( what a great first impression ) and no annoying pushy salesman. I explained exactly what I was looking for in a vehicle he showed me a couple of preowned vehicles that were in my price range and had everything I was looking for but before we made our way into the dealership he showed me a brand new 2018 Camry that had everything I wanted and so much more but as I sit in the front seat of this new Camry I think to myself this is going to be to much, I look over and say that I feel this is going to be well out of my budget. He tells me not to worry about the price of the car because the value exceeds the price and that the new car comes with a 10 year 120,000 mile power train warranty at no additional cost, and two years of free maintance. It all sounds great but all I can think about is how much the car is, As we walk inside im anxious and a bit nervous but he shows me to the lounge sits me down with a fresh cup of coffee and says I’ll be right back with figures as I sit in the lounge I have a nice conversation with 2 others in service and they have been servicing and purchasing with Pearson for over 15 years, here comes the News from the sales manager, butterflies become the size of Full grown birds and he sits next to me and I couldn’t believe my eyes. Here I sit with a piece of paper that shows me a monthly payment with no money down for 72 months and $1000 in rebate money and I’m $15 less than what I have budgeted for. This all on a brand new car. I have spent hours of research at home and visited 3 other manufactures and 2 other toyota dealerships looking at preowned cars and in a short 45 minutes everything came together I couldn’t hide my excitement I happily hold my hand out and say good deal I’m getting a new car. Shortly after, I’m introduced to a product specialist who puts all the paperwork together for me and introduced to business manager James Roth. Always had a horrible experience with the paper work and having to read everything in detail but James made it extremely enjoyable and went over everything with me in great detail and gave me the option to purchase a 10 year 100000 bumper to bumper warranty and only put me a few dollars from where I wanted to be initially but who could resist, I cannot thank the Pearson team enough for my experience and I highly recommend this well put together team. The service manager responded by suggesting that we wait until the results of their multi-point inspection and see which filters actually needed to be replaced. This turned out to be a great cost savings since most of the filters did not need to be replaced. More
Flat tire on Prius with less than 700 miles My new 2017 Prius Four has no spare tire, only a can of goo and an air compressor. The left rear tire got a nail in it. I called Toyota Road Service and within 15 minutes aid arrived. We went to Person Toyota where the tire was pronounced unsafe for normal use because the nail was near the edge of the tread. The nail hole might be plugged and used as a spare if I bought a rim, but it would be safe only to hobble to a repair facility. A new tire was put on the rim and mounted onto my Prius. I checked out alternatives to the can of goo for a temporary fix. Should I buy a normal rim and standard tire as a real spare and put in behind the rear seats? Or get a "donut" tire? Or buy a rim and have the damaged tire mounted? I went home to think about it. Two days later I bought a rim and brand new standard tire and, although it takes space and was the most expensive option, I prefer it to a can of goo. Person Toyota's parts department was very helpful, as was the service department. More
Pearson to My Rescue! Customer Tom Stroup is very happy! My wife's Sienna van had a hub cap come off and lose pressure in the tire. I brought it in to Pearson who checked out the tires, gauges, replaced the hubcap, did a quick overall multipoint inspection to find all well. They gave me same day appointment and took care of this promptly. And my charge for their time and service? $0. Amazing. We also have a Corolla and have only bought and driven Toyota cars for many years. We always have them serviced at Pearson's, and they have never disappointed us yet! Thank you Perarson's! YOU ARE THE BEST! When we look to buy a new Toyota, you won't have to guess where we'll be shopping. We recently moved from Newport News to Wiliamsburg, but we continue to all all our car business with Pearson Toyota in Newport News. When something isn't broken, we don't change it or try to fix it. After we purchased 2 cars from Pearsons Toyota I knew I would be the one to bring them in for service. Usually that is a dreadfully thing as a woman. But Mr. Cardwell is such a people person, as well as not being a pushie salesman. I trust him as well as he listens to me. He actually listens to me the customer! Now his approach is a real team experience. I haven't meet any others that go beyond the call of duty like he goes. As a customer I hear how he talks to the seniors (hard of hearing etc.) Larry is so respectful and thats the main reason I come to your dealership. Thank you-- Mrs. Correll . More
