I typically abhor car shopping. On my list, it's one step worse than being scalped with a rusty garden tool. However, as my car was limping to work, I stopped by after being disappointed at another dealership. I am so glad I did! I bought a car last week from Don Reid Ford. They were the least high pressure sales staff ever! They worked with me to get my loan set up, find a car with low miles, that met all my needs and wants and stayed within my budget. They even gave me more than what my car was worth on trade in... Seriously, the Flinstone's would have had a better car to trade in... I ended up with a 2010 Dodge Caliber and it makes me smile every time I drive :) Thanks! More
Rick took whatever time I needed to find just the right car for me. I had a bad experience at a local Nissan dealer, and he helped restore my faith in car salesmen. He was prompt, friendly and took care o car for me. I had a bad experience at a local Nissan dealer, and he helped restore my faith in car salesmen. Went to my appointment and met with Mr. Copeland and David Mohr. Asked Mr. Mohr about the amount I was approved for and I was told it was not known because it depended on the car we chose. Went to the David Mohr. Asked Mr. Mohr about the amount I was approved for and I was told it was not known because it depended on the car we chose. Went to the lot to see cars with Mr. Copeland and the 1st car he showed me was a 2004 Ford Taurus with 16k miles, not bad for the year. Mr Copeland without asking went to get the keys and wanted me to do a test drive. I didn't want to test drive at that moment I wanted to see more cars, he was insisting. When asking about prices he didn't seem to be willing to release the information. After insisting he said that the previous week his boss offered to a lady for $8500.00. According to Edmund.com it was $5800.00. Then I was lead to a 2010 Elantra, again pricing was hidden after asking. He even when as far as stating that due credit I was not a "citizen"...in the credit sense, insulting? you make the call. I told him I am a numbers person and want numbers upfront, again he put a wall. The man was condescending and not very helpful, raised his voice to me and my wife. Very disappointed, I left knowing they are never getting my business. More
Our experience at Don Reid was like no other. The salesmen were not pushy and definately didnt try to sell you thing you didnt want. Dick was fantastic, I have never dealt with a salesman who was as salesmen were not pushy and definately didnt try to sell you thing you didnt want. I had seen Fred's ad several times and I figured to give it a try. We went in just to look and it was the first time that a sales person actually let me test drive a car when I was just looking. He didn't it a try. We went in just to look and it was the first time that a sales person actually let me test drive a car when I was just looking. He didn't just let me test drive he indulged me. I drove to different models. He explored the pros and cons of each vehicle and of leasing vs. owning. I went back 4 days later an got a new Explorer. Fred spend a lot of time showing me how everything worked. It has an amazing amount of bells and whistles on it. This is my second lease but the first time I walked out of the dealer feeling like I hadn't been cheated. More

My son needed a car so we took both his car as well as my old car (i had just purchased a different car from another dealer) to trade in. We found a car he wanted, filled out the paperwork, traded in both c old car (i had just purchased a different car from another dealer) to trade in. We found a car he wanted, filled out the paperwork, traded in both cars signed it and drove off. Then the problems started. I had a fraud alert on my credit report, he called to tell me that I needed to add my phone number to my credit report (which the credit bureau no longer does) and that all i need to do is call them and have it added. Well, I called them but it's not that easy, I had to send them something in writing and many documents ..and they take 5 to 7 days to do this. So I called Glen and told him what was happening..no problem. In the next weeks time he ran my credit 23 times!! and kept calling to tell me it still was not on there. All the credit checks raised a red flag with the company that was accepting my son's loan and caused them to back out. So after 3 weeks he called my son and told him to bring the car back. he was devastated..he'd been driving it for nearly a month..so I called them and asked if they could just take him off the loan for now and run it with just me. So they did..we went in and signed new paperwork..now all the sudden they want a 500 deposit as well as the trade in's..a week later he calls me to tell me that i needed to pay off my sons car (he only owed 500 bucks) so they could get the title. I told them when we traded it in that he owed on it and we didnt have the title..and i wasn't budging..this is 5 weeks after driving off the lot and we STILL didn't have the car registered. He proceeded to send me NASTY texts saying that i was not taking responsibility and none of this was his fault. I called them a day before the temp tag they originally gave us was to expire and asked about it..he said he'd send a new one overnight..it of course never came. Then..7 weeks after we drove off the lot..they FINALLY get around to registering the car..we told them to transfer the plates that were on one of the cars i traded in. he called me and said he couldn't transfer the plate because it had been canceled because of toll violations...What??? so i called all the toll agencies and they had nothing..so i called him back..i asked what plate he was transferring..he was transferring the WRONG plate!! i had sent one plate back to the dmv to be cancelled because i didn't need it..and he didn't even check..he said the plate he was transferring was on the saturn..and if he'd have looked he'd have seen it was NEVER registered to a saturn. This company is a bunch rude idiots. HANDS down the WORST car buying experience i have EVER had...i never in my life have had it take 7 weeks to close a deal on a car..it was one thing after another...stay away from this place and save yourself a headache! Brought a 17 year old to buy his first car, pick it out, sign all the paper work drive off in it and 2weeks later the salesman says the loan didnt go through and they need the car back. If you sign the pape sign all the paper work drive off in it and 2weeks later the salesman says the loan didnt go through and they need the car back. If you sign the paper work and drive off in the car I would call it sold. But because the salesman entered false info on the paper work and because he was the typical salesman and would not listen to what he was told and always talking, this car was taken away from a 17 year old kid. Never once have we heard from anyone with any authority at Don Reid only the talking salesman. This is about the worst business practice I have ever seen. We have told many people not to do business with them and we will continue spreading the word through many other channels at our disposal with people we know until upper management and I mean someone with real authority contacts us to fix this unthinkable situation that was caused by their employee. How can Don Reid be in business selling Ford motor co. product and Ford be involved with a company like this. Its not a lot of money or a expensive car to them but to a 17 year old kid its a dream. Boy thanks DR your company is a real class act!!!!! More

I bought my used Mazda 3 and they still have not paid off my old truck that I traded in 37 days ago. I had to come back multiple times to resign my loan contract and they still have not even sent me a payme my old truck that I traded in 37 days ago.
