Have brought my truck to this dealership and only this dealership for service for years. They know more about my truck than I do as they are service specialist. So, why when I brought my vehicle in for an dealership for service for years. They know more about my truck than I do as they are service specialist. So, why when I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and tire rotation was I quoted one price on check in but was charged over $100 at check out??? Answer, because they didn't quote me a price for a DIESEL. Really unbelievable. It is a Ford, you went outside and started it up to get the mileage, and you have all the records right there on your computer. I was very upset, so upset in fact that I left the dealership with receipt in hand but didn't realize until much later they didn't give me the results of the 21 point inspection they use to provide. The next day I received a call from the dealership asking about my experience. I communicated all I have disclosed here to the lady representing this business and she asked for my email (which they already have as they emailed an appointment confirmation) and assured me she would email me the 21 point inspection results...that was nearly a week ago and no, I have not received that information. As for the price discrepancy, no apology, no acknowledgement that I should have been quoted an accurate price as the representative was fully aware that my vehicle is a diesel. So disappointed. The work performed by the technicians may be great but the personnel at intake and check out are below standards and not providing the results of the 21 point inspection to the customer is as good as saying those checks were not performed. Totally unacceptable from respectable business. More
Recently purchased a used 2022 F150 from Paul Thigpen Ford in Waynesboro Ga. with 29,789 miles. Wasn’t the best deal but not the worst. I’ve put a little less than 4000 highway miles on the truck since purchase in September and recently noticed severe outside tire wear on the front (tires were brand new at purchase). Returned to Paul Thigpen Ford today on 10/16/23 in hope of getting the issue resolved. I figured after paying $50,000+ for the truck and then the 2 front tires wear down past the wear marks on the outside, that the dealer should bare some responsibility. Well PAUL THIGPEN FORD didn’t see it that way, I was informed that I bought a used truck. So basically I got the finger and the white line guarantee! Oh they offered to rotate tires and alignment to front end, but at my expense. So much for customer service and fair treatment! So you’ve been warned, buy at your own risk at Paul “Friggin-you-Pen”! Horrible staff in the service dept. brought my vehicle in with a check engine light on, and was told l needed two 02 sensors and a catalytic converter. Three months later the light came back on, same problem, one of the 02 sensors..another aftermarket part was put on but this time l was told l needed to pay for the labor..really..what happened to the warranty? Was told labor needed to be charged as my vehicle was not a Ford product. In May the light came on again, wanted an OEM part as the aftermarket parts seem to be faulty…still waiting for a call back to rectify my issue. During this time, new employees have been hired and know nothing of what l have been dealing with. After explaining my issues..l was given promises but no follow thru..different people same runaround.. No problem taking my money, but a big problem for them to honor warranty as well as their work..stay away, stay very far away.. More
So one of your technicians by the name of Tony had a road rage incident today and got out of his truck. Walked up to me and beat on my window and yelled at me. He is representing your dealership. Just in for an Oil Change I've always had great service at this dealership! I've bought three cars from them in the past and even though I own a Chevy now ~ I still felt they I've always had great service at this dealership! We brought the wife’s car in for a routine oil change and tire rotation. When we left the front end was vibrating and pulling hard to the right. Took it back in the third time and they tried to tell me I had tire rotation. When we left the front end was vibrating and pulling hard to the right. Took it back in the third time and they tried to tell me I had 3 bad tires. When we brought it in it was driving beautifully, just wanted a tire rotation. They wanted me to take he car after they screwed it up. I then went to Mizell himself and he was able to get the issue resolved. I didn’t go to the manager Earl Huddleston, because in the past he told me a bald faced lie. I have friends who don’t use Mizell anymore because of similar results. However, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt as I have bought 4 vehicles from them over the years and used their service in spite of lying Earl. They do have some well trained techs working for them, but it’s blind luck if you get one. I’ll never use them again for anything. More
