Part 2: 6-7 months go by with no issues on my vehicle at all, I take my vehicle to tire discounters for an oil change and they told me that the WATER PUMP is leaking and needs to be replaced. They asked if I had a warranty on it and I said I should have one with Paul Thigpen and they recommended I take it to them because there's a warranty for it. I called this past Saturday and they told me the warranty is through Jenkins and that they will try and see if jenkins will cover some of the labor. They said I can bring in my Jeep on Wednesday. I dropped it off Tuesday afternoon so they can work on it first thing Wednesday morning. They said it should be ready Wednesday afternoon. When I asked what the price is going to be, they quoted me $421+ tax because the warranty only covers the part, not the labor. Which is weird because that wasn't close to what I was charged last time.. shady. They ended up getting the water pump from O'Reilly's which is right next door and not Jenkins? Shady as well. Through the text service they provide I messaged them and asked them at 4pm(due to them not keeping me updated on my vehicle) and asked when the jeep will be on ready, they said "if all goes well, it should be ready tomorrow" . I ended up getting the jeep back on Thursday. Not even 100 miles driving down the road, my check engine light turns on. I went to advance auto, they ran diagnostics and told me that it's an 02 sensor. Now I am going to have to pay around $100 for the part and I WILL NOT be taking it to Paul thigpen. They have lost my business, my dad's business who also purchased a vehicle with them and has had nothing but issues since the day he bought it, And my sister will not be going here after her warranty runs out because she also purchased her vehicle here last year. I encourage everyone thinking about taking their vehicles here to reconsider and go somewhere else unless you want be scammed and end up frustrated. I got played. NEVER AGAIN. More
