A Bad Experience Buying a new car is always a trying and complicated process. On Saturday, Aug. 3 my wife and I visited Patty Peck Honda. We were in the market for a Buying a new car is always a trying and complicated process. On Saturday, Aug. 3 my wife and I visited Patty Peck Honda. We were in the market for a new Honda CR-V. Sales person T. J. Handy showed us a number of different CR-Vs on the lot. Easy going, no pressure, but the color CV-R we wanted (Red) was not in stock. T. J. offered to get one in for us and we agreed. Would be in by Wednesday. We received no call, and when I called T. J. he informed me that the car had come in, but because we had not agreed to purchase the car (sight unseen) the car had been sold to someone else. BUT, no problem, another one was on the way. Should be in next day but give him until Friday noon just to make sure. When I texted T. J. on Friday about the car, he said it was there but the tech had to check it. He would text me when the car was ready. No text received. Next received call from sales manager. There was mixup on another sale and they gave that customer the car we were to get. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I told the sales manager that we would not be doing business with Patty Peck Honda, ever again. He apparently didn't bother to tell T. J. this because I just got a video on Monday from T. J., saying my CR-V was there and had my name on it. Turns out the exact car we wanted was only a few miles down the road. We bought it at a price $500 under the Patty Peck price. I think they were playing head games trying to get us to buy one of the cars on the lot. More

Sales department 5 stars but the service department is horrible! The service department denies all claims when you have a warranty. I’ve taken my van up there for so many things, just to get denied for an horrible! The service department denies all claims when you have a warranty. I’ve taken my van up there for so many things, just to get denied for any services. Their answer is always, “I drove it around and I didn’t notice anything” or “your warranty doesn’t cover that” or “we didn’t find anything”. They will only honor recalls and simple maintenance. Also, the service guy Fred is unprofessional and lies through his teeth. I have never been to a dealership where the salesman seem honest and the service department are liars. I advise you to try another Honda dealership for service if you don’t want the run around! More
