I was lied to every step of the way from the salesman, finance, and service. I had a trade in and was told by the salesman my trade in value was one price and then Rick (financing) said it would be $2,200 finance, and service. I had a trade in and was told by the salesman my trade in value was one price and then Rick (financing) said it would be $2,200 dollars less. I asked if $4257 was interest and was told yes, when it was actually extended warranty that I had not agreed to. When I realized that evening that my loan was more than I agreed to I messaged the salesman who said he would help us get it taken care of and then never heard from him. I called the next business day to cancel the extended warranty, after a hassle, Austin said he would have Rick email me a form to sign and cancel the extended warranty and he never did. My husband had to drive to the dealership to sign the form. We were told it would take 3 weeks for the extended warranty to be canceled, and then was told by Cory it really took 6-8 weeks. On the 2nd day of owning the car, I was driving in town and noticed when I turned (especially when I turned right) it made a clunk sound. When my husband went to the dealership to sign the warranty cancellation form he had Hugh ride with him to hear the clunk and Hugh agreed he heard a noise. Austin said he would call us in about a week when he had a loaner vehicle available for us. After 2 weeks we called and Austin said he had a loaner vehicle coming in and would call us toward the end of the week. A week later, no call, so we call Austin, leave a message, later that day send a text. No call back. We called Jeep corporation, who was wonderful and got us in touch with Cory, who got us a loaner car the next day (Saturday). On Tuesday Scott in service called asking us to come back and drive the car to recreate the clunk, I told him I was out of town and for him to drive the car in a neighborhood and be sure to turn right. On Friday I call asking if I needed to come in and drive the car, he said no they would drive it and get it taken care of. A couple weeks later I call to check on the progress, they had not worked on the car anymore and needed me to come in and drive the car to recreate the clunk, I go, I recreate the clunk with the technician in the car. He hears it and had some ideas. About a week later Scott called and said they couldn’t find anything but tightened some stuff and it no longer has the clunk. I pick up my car and turn right out of the dealership and drive approximately 1/4 mile to wal mart and turn right into the parking lot and it made the clunk. I decide to drive home because Patriot had, had my car for so long. The next day we take the car to a different jeep dealership and within an hour they knew what the problem was and told me to not drive it anymore until they could fix it. Also- when we dropped the car off at Patriot we told them we noticed that when you turn the left blinker on the bright lights came on and was told they tried it 1,00 times and it never happened. While at the new dealership we mentioned it and with one try they agreed that the bright lights came on when you turned the blinker on left. More
