Called the service department and was surprised to have the service manager pick up the phone. I told Theo that I'm a small local shop look to have a couple question answered by a tech, he told me is a tec the service manager pick up the phone. Recently acquired a used 2010 Jetta TDI Sportwagon and brought it on a Saturday morning to the Patrick service dept. for advice on emissions recall eligibility. Sarah researched the recall history on my brought it on a Saturday morning to the Patrick service dept. for advice on emissions recall eligibility. Sarah researched the recall history on my Jetta and determined that all recalls had been completed except the emissions fix. Sarah then scheduled service for mid to late the following week, which I was fine with,since the Jetta is a spare car at the moment and not needed on a daily basis. Much to my delight, I was contacted on Tuesday morning with the news that the emissions recall on the Jetta has been completed. 1 day turnaround! I also was impressed with a video(viewable on the web) that was taken after the emissions fix , showing the components replaced and identifying additional optional service work that will be needing attention. Sarah did go out of her way to help research(identify) the previous dealers(out of state) that had performed service on the Jetta. This was important to me since no service record history was available with the Jetta at time of purchase. I now have the dealer names and phone numbers. Also would like to mention that Sarah displayed a comprehensive technical knowledge of the Jetta TDI. So I give a A+ to the Patrick VW service dept. More
