Routine service - No appt. drive in oil change I decided to take advantage of Patrick Subaru's drive up oil change service today (02/13/2020) and had the good fortune of being assisted by Service A I decided to take advantage of Patrick Subaru's drive up oil change service today (02/13/2020) and had the good fortune of being assisted by Service Advisor, Sean Foley. I told him I was just about due for an oil change on my '17 Legacy. He promptly had me in the system and ready to get the service taken care of. He also suggested a tire rotation and an alignment check. Given I've had the vehicle for almost 3 years (despite the low mileage of 19,152) I figured after having the tires rotated it was worth having the alignment checked and corrected if needed. In the end, I did have all three services done in a relative quick amount of time (about 90 minutes or so) and was happily on my way. Sean was quite courteous and explained the services suggested without any pressure to have them done if I did not want them done. All in all and as usual at Patrick Subaru, the overall experience was great. It's great having a service advisor who will honestly explain the various suggested services and which one's are necessary and which one's are optional or can wait. If you're looking for great service from a great dealership with great people, look no further. From sales, finance, service and parts everyone is very knowledgeable and helpful. More

Unnecessary charges "Accidentally" charged us for a factory recall. The charges were in a separate line item making it hard to identify. Another concern was being pushed into a "throttle cleaning service" at <20k miles, even though there were no noticeable issues with the car. Everything I've read or researched would suggest that is not a legitimate need. So my advice - go in knowing exactly what you need done. If they try proposing extra services do your homework before authorizing anything. Don't let yourself be pressured into services you don't need. More

under warranty, car has been there for a month DO NOT GO TO PATRICK SUBARU IN SHREWBURY UNLESS YOU WANT CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT NEVER CALLS YOU BACK. My sons car has been there for a month to be rep DO NOT GO TO PATRICK SUBARU IN SHREWBURY UNLESS YOU WANT CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT NEVER CALLS YOU BACK. My sons car has been there for a month to be repaired under the warranty. (BTW he has had the car since December 2017 and the car is two years old). Instead of repairing the car they are trying to fight the warranty before they have even removed the oil pan. Mary at Patrick Subaru was initially calling my son to tell him to get the repair records for oil changes. After he submitted them....nothing. He calls at least once a day and NEVER receives a call back. She told him to call today at 12 and guess what, she didn't answer the phone. And she hasn't called him back and it is now 4:00. Now I understand people get busy at a job, but she hasn't had time IN THREE WEEKS to return his call. They are trying to void the warranty before they have even looked at the car. They are also telling him he needs the previous owners repair records. He bought the car from a dealership. I have never heard of this. I will find all social media avenues to let people know to stay far away! UPDATE: After 1 month of no returned calls we directed our complaint to Subaru Corporate Office. They actually responded to us and helped. When they finally decided they would fix the car, it took 5 days. We went a month for a car that could have been fixed in 5 days. They also went back and forth saying they would fix the car, then they wouldn't, then they would. They also told my son they would not give him a loaner or rental car BECAUSE WE LEFT A BAD REVIEW. Buyer beware. DO NOT GO TO PATRICK SUBARU. They sent be a blanket response that they had to wait for an ok from Subaru to do the work. Very matter of fact and using that as an excuse. The problem was THEY DIDN'T RETURN PHONE CALLS FOR A MONTH. NEVER AGAIN!!! More
Louie went the extra mile! My daughter's Subaru Legacy was having issues with oil consumption only to find out from the dealer we purchased it from in Pennsylvania that it was a My daughter's Subaru Legacy was having issues with oil consumption only to find out from the dealer we purchased it from in Pennsylvania that it was a defective part requiring replacement. We went many months and had several oil consumption tests that failed at three different dealerships (my daughter graduated and moved to Massachusetts to take a job). We were then told we would have to have a second test done at Patrick as per policy, However, Louie went the extra mile. I had the paperwork indicating the car had failed the test and he called Subaru to make arrangements to get the needed part. He called my daughter right after we left the dealership. After almost a year of dealing with this, the car was fixed in two weeks. Louie has checked on my daughter to see if the car is running okay. He even made arrangements for her rental car. I can't say how much I appreciate Louie's attention to this and helping my daughter out. Thanks, Louie, and thanks Patrick Subaru. More
