Upon our walk-in to Patrick Subaru, my husband and I were greeted by sales rep, Joe, who took care of us right away. Our original interest was an Outback, which he drove right out front for us to test drive greeted by sales rep, Joe, who took care of us right away. Our original interest was an Outback, which he drove right out front for us to test drive. All and all, a nice drive, but not as spacious as we hoped, so Joe and co-worker, Steve, recommended the Tribeca, as it offered more space. We went home to research consumer reports and reviews on the Tribeca and decided it was our best bet! The following day, we were able to crunch numbers and start paperwork over the phone with sales rep, Tri and finance rep, Rob. The whole team offered top-notch service, unlike anything we had experienced throughout our 3 week car search! Tri was incredibly knowledgeable about our Subaru model and history, as well as many of its competitors. He gave us direct answers and honest advice, which is something we never received from the Bernardi Honda and Bernardi Toyota dealerships located on rte. 9, as well. Tri went above and beyond to ensure that we would able to drive our new car off the lot that night. He even went out to greet our tow with our trade-in while we sat in traffic on the way over. Tri stayed later to accommodate my husband's busy work schedule and ultimately ended up staying 2 hours after closing time to help us clear out our old car in the freezing cold! We spent a lot of time with Rob in Finance, who also stayed well after closing time to thoroughly explain the terms and conditions of our new loan. He also went over different Subaru warranty options, and waited most patiently while we decided on a package and tackled him with question. Honestly, we went to Patrick's looking for a used car on a strict budget! After 3 weeks of car shopping, you learn that most car salespeople don't want to waste their time on you unless you are willing to buy a brand new car, or pay for an overpriced used one! The other dealers I previously mentioned, pressured us into cars we couldn't afford and gave us the traditional car salesman run around, but Patrick's treated us like gold from the moment we walked through their door. In the end, we drove away in what felt like a "new" car and this is why Patrick Subaru is the epitome of how every car dealership should be! More
I am writing to let you know what a wonderful experience I had with Patrick Subaru in Shrewsbury. From your prompt response to schedule a test drive to my ultimate purchase of this vehicle, I have nothi I had with Patrick Subaru in Shrewsbury. From your prompt response to schedule a test drive to my ultimate purchase of this vehicle, I have nothing but good things to say. When my husband and I arrived on the morning of Friday, January 2nd for the test drive, we were introduced to Justin who quickly brought the vehicle out for us to view and accompanied us on a test drive. Over the course of about an hour, Justin worked with us to settle on a price that worked for both me and the dealership. I returned to the dealership two hours later to sign over my trade in and make the payment and the car had been fully detailed. Justin knew I had to get to another appointment, so he expedited the transfer as best as he could. Personally, I was not looking forward to the conversations that must be had when settling on a price. However, I feel that Justin was a good match to my personality and was very open and honest about how the process works. I even called him last week to follow up on the anticipated receipt of my new registration and he promptly returned my phone call. The entire experience put me at ease with the car buying process and I will recommend Patrick Subaru and Justin to my family and friends. On a side note, I contacted another dealership to request a test drive the same day I contacted Patrick and I have still yet to hear back from them. Kudos to you and your team, especially Justin. I hope that he receives the recognition he deserves for a job well done. He is truly an asset to Patrick Subaru. More
Initiated contact by email; which was very courteous. They started by saying that they had all colors and models in stock. I replied I was looking for a Subaru Outback 2.5XT, manual, color undecided. Th They started by saying that they had all colors and models in stock. I replied I was looking for a Subaru Outback 2.5XT, manual, color undecided. Their reply back was wisely crafted to lead me to believe they had such models. My wife and I drove there, met with the salesman Luke, who was not very polite, only to find out they had no such models, and tried to get me to consider a Forester instead! We let them know they had told us the opposite and as a result were making us waste our time, trying to lure us in to offer a car we did not ask for. We asked to be redirected at a dealer where they would have the car we were looking for. Luke gave us a short listing, immediately turnng his back on us, without an apology, and without even a simple goodbye. I despise methods aimed at reeling customers in on false pretenses, to take advantage of "while you're here" situations. I cannot recommend a dealer who uses such practices. More
I would recommend Patrick Subaru of shrewsbury because of their salesperson Tri Le. He was able to answer every question we threw at him. He is not a "typical car salesman." He was not pushy or rude. He was their salesperson Tri Le. He was able to answer every question we threw at him. He is not a "typical car salesman." He was not pushy or rude. He was willing to work the numbers over and over again provinding us with many options. He is well versed in all things Subaru. He went out of his way to find the exact car I was looking for, color, manual transmission. He found one in another state, had it brought half way and then picked it up and brought it to Patrick's where I picked it up the same day and drove home! The car was spotless, with a full tank and warmed up when I went to get in. All in all I would highly recommend going to see Tri at Patrick's for a Subaru. More
Finally, a car dealership where they treat you with genuine care and respect, and they honestly value your time. Patrick Subaru is all of this and more, and Justin Beauregard is a fabulous professional genuine care and respect, and they honestly value your time. Patrick Subaru is all of this and more, and Justin Beauregard is a fabulous professional to work with there. We purchased a 2005 Subaru Forrester and had the best car-buying experience ever. It was quick, easy, streamlined, and Justin was an absolute pleasure to do business with... knowledgeable, gracious, warm, conscientious, and focused on meeting our needs. Both Justin and the dealership worked with us on the price, they allowed us to drive the vehicle all the way to Harvard to assess the garage fit, and they cut to the chase and got the deal done quickly. No haggling or waiting around for hours. These folks do business the right way, and their care and respect is conveyed in every interaction. It's really inspiring to observe car sales and customer service done right. Patrick Subaru and Justin Beauregard are the real deal. More
Last Sunday, my wife and I visited Patrick Subaru in Shrewsbury, MA to test-drive a 2009 Legacy. Upon our arrival we were greeted by John Watt in the Sales Department. From the moment we met John, he co Shrewsbury, MA to test-drive a 2009 Legacy. Upon our arrival we were greeted by John Watt in the Sales Department. From the moment we met John, he conducted himself with the utmost level of professionalism. This is something we have never seen before from a car salesman. Additionally, we can safely say that we have never done business with a car salesperson who could demonstrate such a high level of product knowledge as John Watt. What surprised us the most was the absence of the typical back and forth haggling on price. We were given a price that was lower than the price on the exact same car we were looking at from a local competitor. The competitor had kept us in their showroom for 6 hours going back and forth on price. On Monday my wife and I returned to Patrick Subaru to purchase the Legacy we discussed with John Watt on Sunday. It was at this time that John Watt reviewed all the necessary paperwork prior to finalizing the purchase, and every operating function of the car prior to departing the dealership. We can definitely say that Patrick Subaru is an outstanding dealership run exceptionally well by the Patrick family. More
Patrick Subaru was amazing from the beginning, offering a competitive price on a new 2008 Subaru Outback XT. Erin handled the internet negotiations with efficiency and was very upfront about the pricing met competitive price on a new 2008 Subaru Outback XT. Erin handled the internet negotiations with efficiency and was very upfront about the pricing methodology used. Patrick was the second stop on my Subaru tour of Massachusetts as I had driven up from NYC (the '08 XT was difficult to find at this point in the year but MA had 3 in-state). The XT was waiting in front of the dealership when I pulled in, looking very much like the stealth rocket it is. The dealership itself is gorgeous, built into the side of a hill with great landscaping, very appropriate for the Subaru brand. Luke greeted me at the door and made sure my trade would be appraised as we took the XT for a test drive. He was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle, answering all of my questions, both general and technical, with ease. Never once did I feel like he was trying to sell me the car, we were simply two guys going for a drive on a beautiful day. We returned to Patrick and sat down to discuss my trade. They offered above market value for my car as a starting point for negotiations. Very impressive considering the mechanical problems my car was having at the time. Having spent all day in the car without a bite to eat, I wanted to grab lunch before I fully considered their offer. Luke was totally cool considering most salespeople (he's really more like a consultant) would try to tackle you to keep you from leaving the lot without a deal. I think only 15% or so of people who leave the lot actually come back to close the sale. He actually even offered to let me take the XT to the restaurant but I declined not wanting to be swayed by close contact with the Outback. As I started my car to go to lunch...IT DIED! Let me repeat that, my car DIED in front of their dealership! Kaput. Obviously upset that my trade value had literally gone up in smoke before my eyes, Luke gave me directions to a restaurant and suggested that I go to lunch while they took a look at my car. They gave me the keys to a brand new '09 Outback (really a great car)and I went to lunch, dreading the revised quote I knew was coming. When I returned to dealership Luke motioned for me to sit down at his desk as he was on the phone. When he finished he explained that he had just spoken with the owner and the general manager and that they had authorized him to extend the original offer without any adjustment. Patrick Subaru would have had every right in the world to reduce their offer for my now defunct car but they stayed with their original offer! Not only that, but they gave me an awesome Impreza loaner to drive back to NY in so that I could process the paperwork at the RMV (my old car certainly wasn't going to be able to make the trip). I have never received such amazing customer service in my life. Patrick Subaru went above and beyond the call of duty and as a result they have a very thankful customer for life. More

I am veeeery angry, upset and dis Hi, I purchased a used 06 Nissan Altima from your Subaru Store 3 weeks ago from Patrick Subaru In Shrewsbury ma. I am veeeery angry, upset and dissatisfied with my purchase. The vehicle was misrepresented to me by the salesman. He failed to inform me that the car had been in an accident. As soon as I drove the car off the lot (note that an inspection was not done and only 1 key was given to me, poor service), I had problems with the front end. I brought it to the dealer. repairs were done. As soon as I got it back I noticed it still had issues in front end. Alignment wasn’t right and it bucked when going slow. Dealer picked it up and performed an alignment and a Nissan inspection at my request. When I got it back the car still bucked and there was a rattling sound maybe from engine maybe from front end. I called to complain and requested a refund. As with every step in the process I had to call and complain multiple times prior to getting any offers to rectify the situation. I was offered a 5 year warranty which I accepted as I assumed that I could live with the bucking and sounds if they did not get worse. 3 days later they did get worse. Much worse. Additionally a new knocking sound started when going over any bumps in the road. Sounds just like it did when I first drove off lot. It needed new struts then and all have been replaced. So not sure how this could be occurring again. Engine sound is much worse and it still bucks when driving slowly. So I called the dealership and again requested a full refund. I was denied this and was again offered a trade in (trying to up sell me) but now they said I could not have warranty as they cancelled it already. I was told the lemon law requires 3 repairs for the same issue. So I said I needed the car picked up so that it could be serviced. I am willing to go through the process however I was then told I needed to bring the car in myself. I am extremely worried about the safety of the car and I relayed that to the dealership but they did not care. They refused to take it in even though legally they are required to tow up to 30 miles. I am very disappointed at the dealership. DO NOT BUY A CAR FORM PATRICK SUBARU!!!! They knew this car had been in an accident and failed to disclose it. I asked the salesman if it had been and he denied any knowledge of it. I hope all of everyone reading this is aware of the tactics used by this dealership. STAY AWAY FROM PATRICK MOTORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!11 More

If you've ever had a bad car buying experience in the past, then you've never been to Patrick Motors. I just bought a Subaru wagon from them, and I can't believe how "calming" it was. My total experience past, then you've never been to Patrick Motors. I just bought a Subaru wagon from them, and I can't believe how "calming" it was. My total experience was a pleasant suprise. You always hear about how much "pressure" you get from a salesperson because they only want the sale. You won't find that behavior at Patrick Motors. There was no "PIRANHA" to greet me as I stepped out of my vehicle before I got to the showroom door. It was warm and inviting to walk around the showroom and not be followed by an aggressive salesperson. When I did have a question regarding the car I was looking it, a salesperson was readily available. The overall features of the car were explained in detail, making me fall in love with the car even more. This car had things I didn't expect it to have, and the price just couldn't be beat. Trading in my current vehicle went smoothly. I liked the fact that you were "scheduled" with the finance team so you didn't wait for hours and hours in the dealership just to finish signing all of your papers. When it came time to pick up the car, I felt like I was meeting an old friend. This dealership has a good thing going. I would refer all of my family and friends to Patrick Motors. I've even took the liberty to post some of my salesperson's business cards up on the bulletin boards where I work. I hope it may give him another sale. More
