I bought my second new but used program car from Patrick Motors in a short period of 16 months. The first vehicle was a 2008 Outback Limited which I just traded for a 2009 Legacy 4 door sedan. I was very ha Motors in a short period of 16 months. The first vehicle was a 2008 Outback Limited which I just traded for a 2009 Legacy 4 door sedan. I was very happy with the wagon but no longer had a use for it. I really like the looks and drive of the Legacy and I expect to have this vehicle for years to come. It was a pleasure dealing with Luke Latham for both purchases as the guy is down to earth, easy to work with and doesn't pressure you as most car salesmen do. More

I liked the "no hassle" approach. We were greeted at the door and asked if we could be helped. We were not pounced upon from several directions to see which salesman could make it to us first. The car and the necessary paperwork were ready on time as agreed. The salesman went over the car in great detail and made sure we understood how everything functioned. First of all, I dont be mean to be rude, but I hate car salesman. Whenever I have to buy a car I dread it. It's always a horrible experience and the salemen are horrible. They call you endelessly and push you to the limit and just try to make a deal. Last year, my fiance was looking for a new car. We had been to multiple dealerships and our last stop was Patrick Subaru. At their closing time. Luke came up to us and just talked to us. He was friendly, not pushy and very amusing! He ask what we were looking for, we didnt really know. He knew it was closing time and he had no problem staying with us, just talking about different cars and such. The fact that he stayed past closing, knowing he wasnt going to make a deal that night, showed a lot. He really cared about what my fiance was looking for and our financial situation. The next day we decide to go down and test drive some cars, long story short, my fiance ended up buying a brand new Subaru Legacy. He didn't buy it right away, it took awhile. But Luke was patient and didnt force anything. My fiance is completely happy with the car, and most importantly with the way the whole process was handled. From then on, we talked about Luke finding me a car. I wasnt really sure what I had wanted and he knew that. But every so often he'd give a call just to let us know that they got a car in that he think I'd be interested in. Sometimes I would go and test drive it, sometimes I just didnt like the car. He let me test drive the cars and NEVER pushed me to buy something. He could tell if I liked something or if I didn't. He'd say "let's go, you don't like this one I can tell. We'll keep looking". In the meantime, I went to other dealerships. It was a nightmare. The salesman would call me everyday, try to get me to come in, it was awful. It took a year, but i finally figured out what kind of car I wanted. It was a mitsubishi eclipse. Shockingly, Luke called me and my fiance up right away and told us that they got one in. Weird... I know. So I went down to drive it and I loved it! However, I was a little unsure about the model of the car. I told him I was going to go down to the mitsubishi dealer and drive some older models. My fiance and I don't like to rush into things, we want to make sure this was the car I really wanted. Luke had no problem with that at all. So we end up going to the Mitsubishi dealership in Westborough. The guy was pretty nice, I told him exactly what I thought I wanted. I told him I wasn't quite sure yet but I did want to try out an older model. Well, he ended up sitting us down, getting our information, then the sales manager came over. It was very aggravating. From that point on I knew I didn't want to buy my vehicle there. I looked at my fiance and said, "Lets go back to Luke". As we drove over to Patrick Subaru my fiance and I were dicussing how great of a salesman Luke Latham really is. It took me a year to find a car I really wanted. And I remember when my fiance bought his car, Luke told me "I promise I'll help you find a car". And he did. It's funny because after leaving the Mitsubishi dealership I put a down payment on the car so nobody would take it, becuase I knew that I wanted that car. I was in quite a hurry, I had to be somewhere at a certain time. Luke got all the paperwork ready for me and I was in and out of there in 10 minutes. He told me I was all set for now and to come back when I have more time to finish up the details and paperwork. He was awesome; he is awesome. I went down the next day to wrap everything up and Luke had told us that a girl came back to put a downpayment on the car. Weird how things happen... A few days after I already had bought my car the Mistubishi salesman called me. He called a couple of times and one of the times he called me he had his manager give me the low down on this fabulous car that I would love. Funny thing was, the car he was explaining to me, "that was the car for me" he said, was nothing what i wanted. It was a standard, which obviously they werent listening to me because I can't drive a standard. No sun roof, which was a must. And a color that I didn't even pick. After listening to that message, I was even more satisfied that I went with Luke. Because whenever Luke would call me about a car, he had an idea of what I was looking for. He knew I couldn't drive a stick, that I wanted a sunroof, and a specific color. In conclusion, I just want to give Luke all the credit he deserves. I appreciate his help more than he can imagine. He really is one xxxx of a salesman. He does his job and he does it well. And I know he really enjoys what he does. I've never in my life met a salesman like Luke. I tell people about him all the time. Whenever we talk about my car or my fiances' car. I've actually referred people to Patrick Subaru and I tell them to go see Luke. Even if they aren't looking at Subaru vehicles. I told them, this guy is the best. He'll find the right vehicle for you More
I just moved to the US, and wanted to buy a used Impreza in the 10K$ range. The salesman, Tri Le has been very kind from the beginning, and willing to collaborate and meet my needs. He first showed to me a 06 Impreza wagon, with 80K miles, and during our test drive the "check engine" came up. So I tested a 05 one, with 50K miles, it seemed ok, but when I brought it to MIDAS (60$, very recommendable) for a pre-purchase check they told me that the head gasket had to be changed. Since Patrick told me that they won't change it I tested another 05 Impreza, that this time was ok with the MIDAS check (they didn't charge me for this second inspection!) So I bought this one, and Tri Le was very helpful in all the paperwork, he got me the best insurance price I could get around, and he even picked me up at work or at home when I needed to go to the dealer to test cars or sign papers and so on. So my take home message is: Tri Le has been very kind and helpful, not pushy at all, the best salesman I could found in the Worcester area for professionalism and kindness. The only problem I got is that many of the used cars are bought at auctions, so they have no idea about the history of the car. This is why a pre-purchase inspection is strongly recommended. But this is a problem with all used cars, not with Patrick's in particular. More
