The time it took for the oil change was ok. Something was leaking not sure what it was. And when I started to drive off the sound was not the same. I took it in they checked it out. Thank goodness nothing leaking. I took my vehicle in for service. I also noticed that my check engine light was on. I ask the person at the service desk to check that as well. I later got a call stating a sensor had I also noticed that my check engine light was on. I ask the person at the service desk to check that as well. I later got a call stating a sensor had went bad. I asked them to replace it and once work was done I picked up vehicle about a week later light check engine light came back on. I made a phone call back to the dealer. They reset the light a few days later it came back on again at this point. It was determined to be a bad sensor. I brought the vehicle in dropped it off on a Tuesday evening. Work was to be performed on Wednesday. I received a call on Thursday afternoon by a different service writer. He informed me that I had two other codes that came up One was a throttle body sensor. The other was my transmission. He asked me if I had been having problems with my transmission. I told him no that I had just had the transmission serviced a week or so ago at their dealership he then said oh I see that and then stated Have you considered replacing your vehicle I said no then he went on to tell me the cost to replace both of those items transmission would cost me $8700 and the other sensor would cost me another $1700. If I were to repair then he said are you sure you don’t want to talk to someone in sales? I can transfer you over since your vehicle has such high mileage I said no put my vehicle back together. I will be there to pick it up. This service man was pushing for new car sales. In my opinion. I have not had any issues with my transmission. Yes, my vehicle has 184,000 miles on it, but runs very well very disappointed in this dealerships service department. More
