I had a wonderful experience. Diaz greeted my husband and I with a smile. He was plesant. He was not pushy nor over-bearing. He listened to what we wanted. We are extremely satisfied with the service we receieved. After test drving a couple vehicles, we decided to go home and pray and think about our options. Two days later, Diaz called with news that what we were looking for had arrived. We went in, test drove it, and took it home. We love our Pathfinder. And to think, we started out looking for a GMC Denali. Go get a Nissan today & ask for Diaz! More
We have purchased several cars from Passport Nissan and the experience we've always had during the process with the staff and mechanics is always wonderful. We would like to thank Neal Connelly and Fred S the experience we've always had during the process with the staff and mechanics is always wonderful. We would like to thank Neal Connelly and Fred Shepherd for the awesome experience and support they showed toward us while shopping for our new 2009 Altima, they were professional, knowledgeable and funny at the same time, the assistance we had was awesome. It was a pleasant experience indeed and we will recommend this dealership to our friends for future references. More
I was asked by the sales department to rate them on this website. The sales people are not knowledgable about the leasing or buying process. They misrepresented the trade-in process and failed to follow up website. The sales people are not knowledgable about the leasing or buying process. They misrepresented the trade-in process and failed to follow up with me at any point after the sale for such items as my inspection with the national dealer and my parking permit, which they neglected to order. At other times, I have encountered problems with the Service team. I recenlty paid $700 for full maintenance and tune-up and 2 days later my battery died, and I had to pay to get it replaced even though it had just been "tested." I have been wholly dissatisified with both the sales and service departments and will never use this dealership again. More
Everyone at that dealership has been extremely professional, friendly and helpful. I bought a Nissan Murano from them in April of 2008 and actually look forward to visiting whenever I can. I LOV professional, friendly and helpful. I bought a Nissan Murano from them in April of 2008 and actually look forward to visiting whenever I can. I LOVE THIS CAR! J.D. Pittman is a great salesperson, as is Ray. Fred Shepard and Bob Gaspari are great managers. Rodney Martin is tremendous as a finance manager. When I sat down with Rodney, he was forthright, honest and factual with me about the extras I was purchasing. He took the time to explain in detail what it was I was purchasing, and he has not let me down in regretting what I got. The service department is always accommodating, considering how busy it is. All in all, this is a dealership of people who engage you from the start, who know their business and know their cars, who are willing to help you and go the extra mile, EVEN AFTER YOU HAVE BOUGHT YOUR CAR. That explains why they are probably the number one Nissan dealership in Northern Virginia. Sincerely, Elizabeth Singleton More
My first experience was not that pleasant and I walked out very disappointed in the sales staff. Later that night, the Sales manager, Fred called me at home and apologized for the experience and invited m out very disappointed in the sales staff. Later that night, the Sales manager, Fred called me at home and apologized for the experience and invited me back assuring me that he would personally handle the sale. I returned a little weary of what I would find but my experience from then on was awesome. Paul Friedman introduce himself within minutes of my arrival. He was very apologetic for what I had experienced a few days earlier. From that point on Paul and Fred got me the car I wanted for the price that I wanted. They were extremely patient and friendly. Paul was not at all agressive in his sales method and pretty much allowed me to pick the car that I wanted and Fred was able to work with me to get me the car at the price that made since to me. I would 100% recommend this dealer particularly the sales consultant Paul Friedman. He was exceptional in his customer service in my experience. Also if you need a good deal go and see Fred, he really works with your situation to make it as affordable as possible. More
I wanted to take a few moments to acknowledge Passport Nissan's Paul Friedman, my new favorite salesman. From the moment that I entered the dealership, Paul provided a level of customer service that far Nissan's Paul Friedman, my new favorite salesman. From the moment that I entered the dealership, Paul provided a level of customer service that far exceeded my expectations. He was honest, courteous, and well-informed. That final characteristic ("well-informed") is my singular biggest criticism of the automotive sales industry. Personally, I love to test drive new cars and examine new models. However, 95% of the time, I find myself educating the salesperson about the vehicle, and it becomes painfully obvious to me that he or she has taken little or no time to become familiar the product at issue. Not the case with Paul. He knows his product, and even more importantly, he knows how to work with particularly demanding customers (like me) who want a very specific set of options on a particular vehicle. Although these qualities alone would be enough to win my respect, Paul is also organized enough to send me an e-mail either when he finishes dealing with the customer in front of me or when he has early availability in advance of our scheduled appointment time. I will be making an appearance at Passport Nissan as soon as the new 2010 370z Roadster makes an appearance, and I will be dealing with Paul Friedman on that sale. I'm not sure whether that's a good or a bad thing for Paul, but I certainly know that it speaks volumes about the dealership. Sincerely, Brian Weinthal More
The experience I had with these two gentlemen was awesome. They were very knowledgeable about the Nissan cars and the finance options available to me. They were not pressing me and did not think any awesome. They were very knowledgeable about the Nissan cars and the finance options available to me. They were not pressing me and did not think any of my questions were of no value. They took there time and that is always a plus. That makes the decision easier. I was so comfortable after talking with them no pressure at anytime. I have given there names and numbers to other folks interested in Nissans. I would highly recommend these folks to anyone. It was truly a pleasure. It means alot when you walk in and they remember you. Thanks guys and I will return when it is time for a newer vehicle. !! Brenda More
Paul Friedman has promptly responded to my emails, and followed up with persuasive emails highlighting the car's and the dealership's main selling points. He properly referred me to his sales manager, Fr followed up with persuasive emails highlighting the car's and the dealership's main selling points. He properly referred me to his sales manager, Fred Shepard, who via telephone gave me truthful and direct answers to my questions. Please note that I live over an hour's drive from Passport Nissan in Alexandria. In the 1980's I purchased a new Nissan and had it regularily serviced @ Stohlman Nissan which appears to have been the predesessor to Passport Nissan @ or close to the same location. I was very satisfied by my treatment during the 1980's by the employees of Stohlman Nissan. I contacted Passport Nissan because I found their price for the new 2009 Nissan Maxima to be the best I could find nearby on the Internet. I greatly appreciate that they have dealt with me via email and telephone, have done their best to answer my questions, and invite me to visit their dealership. If I do decide to go foward with purchasing a new 2009 Nissan Maxima I will visit Passport Nissan and give Paul and Fred an opportunity to sell me a new 2009 Nissan Maxima. @ this time I'm still trying to decide whether it's wise to sell or trade my 2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe with under 29,000 miles and either spend or incur debt of more than $10,000 to buy a new 2009 Maxima.
