My X-5 is a lease and has been in the shop 15 times in the past 30 months. The general manager Joe Long and Jay Klein have done NOTHING for us and refuse to do anything for us. They do not return calls or the past 30 months. The general manager Joe Long and Jay Klein have done NOTHING for us and refuse to do anything for us. They do not return calls or e-mails. The car is still under warranty, but it is still not in normal working order. BMW customer service is not responsive either. They have referred us back to the dealership and the dealership ignores us. My frustration is growing!! More

The cost for repair is a lot greater than their competitors. I live within 2 miles of this dearlership and I travel all the way to NorthWest BMW in Owings Mills, MD, which is about 50 miles out ju competitors. I live within 2 miles of this dearlership and I travel all the way to NorthWest BMW in Owings Mills, MD, which is about 50 miles out just to get something as small as an oil change. I would not recommend this dealership because the customer service is not good and they do not provide loaner vehicles for the majority of the work they are performing on your vehicle, especially considering the cost of the work being done. Bought my BMW & "3" days later took in to Passport to have oil changed, and have several minor things repaired. I had picked vehicle up in Ohio, and after roughly 600 mile drive back to DC m Passport to have oil changed, and have several minor things repaired. I had picked vehicle up in Ohio, and after roughly 600 mile drive back to DC metro area, where I lived, I wanted to make sure that every thing was in tiptop condition. (although I had BMW dealer inspection prior to purchase) I was able to book an appt. to have my vehicle's oil changed sooner than any other local dealership at Passport (all other dealerships were at least 1 week further out for service appts), and the service was impeccable. My service advisor was extremely knowledgeable, straightforward, and honest. In addition he got me out of the dealership "2" hours sooner than expected. I'll continue bringing my car to them, even though my car was out of warranty, and I didn't buy it from them, my hat goes off to them, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for excellent "thorough" and complete servicing. In July of 2002 I scheduled an Inspection II maintenance service to be done on my 1999 BMW 323i. The invoice for the complete service was $647.82. At the time, the vehicle had 62,365 on it which is an app service to be done on my 1999 BMW 323i. The invoice for the complete service was $647.82. At the time, the vehicle had 62,365 on it which is an appropriate time to have an Inspection II service completed.

On October 17, 2003, the car had 94,000 miles on it and I scheduled some maintenance to be done on the car at an independent mechanic that I have gone to before on several occasions. The mechanic performed the maintenance and noticed the following:

• Transmission fluid removed was black.
• Spark plugs were extremely corroded.
• A/C filter was dark black.
• Differential fluid was black.

It was the mechanic’s opinion that none of the maintenance was performed on July 29, 2002 due to the appearance of the fluid, filters and spark plugs. The wear on these components was not characteristic of just over a year of use and 30,000 additional miles. I paid for $647.82 worth of maintenance that was not completed.

I have photos of the sparkplugs and ventilation filter from the car. Please email me to see them. More
