Dishonest and over charged on battery for my 2019 Journey. Kept me there all day saying it would take a long time to diagnose the vehicle. My Journey is 5 model years old, but I have had it just over 4 years. I'm from Auburn Hills and bought this vehicle end of January 2020. They had limited inventory and oddly enough mostly Journeys. I wanted a 6 cylinder so I took the 2019 as they quit making the. 6. They quit making the Journey in 2020. Wonder why that happened? They knew there was a problem. I'm 80 years old and have been a loyal Chrysler customer for years. Many family members have worked for Chrysler over the years including Customer care. After having this vehicle just over 2 years, the battery when completely dead. So I had to have it towed to the nearest dealer, which was not Parkway. Since it was still under the original warranty. They replaced the battery, since it would not take a charge at all. It was completely depleted. Thought I was ok as batteries in my vast driving experience they (plus 60 years). last usually 4 plus years and have always gotten at stores like auto zone, who usually install free. So now on 4/23/24 which was last Wednesday, I'm taking it in to Parkway as that is where I bought it, for a check engine light. I wasn't there very long when the service guy Brian told me it look like it might be a battery problem. Really? How could that be when my last battery had been replaced just weeks over 2 years 3-17-22. They were going to have to test it, So approx. 3 hours later, I was told it would cost me $600 to replace the battery plus labor cost. My options were to keep it the way it was and take my chances. I learned how they took advantage me and being by myself. So he would go to lunch and hand over paper work to someone else. Now I'm upset as I don't have that kind of money. That is half my income and of course the warranty just ran out. Here is the worst or best for them . I purchased the best warranty money can buy for Chrysler but it doesn't cover batteries, how convenient for them. So while all were at lunch. I spotted my car as I walked the dealership. It was in a bay by itself and nobody around. If it had something plugged in, I wasn't able to see. I just know there were no techs doing labor intensive stuff to my car. When it was discovered, I was walking around and not happy, I suddenly had two service managers almost holding my hand. When I told them that the cost was outrageous, they actually said it was my fault because I didn't drive the car enough and wasn't charging the battery enough. Imagine, at this stage in life, you find out how stupid they think you are. So Rick and Darrian told me Mopar batteries only warrant for 2 years and if I drove it more this might not happened. So they put it on diagnostics again and said it was fine now and hopefully it won't happen again. I reluctantly paid and cried on the way home. Lets sum this up. 2 batteries replaced in 4 years, but somehow it is my fault. Almost $400 in labor (plugging) it in twice to diagnostics. Even after all that, they can't guarantee that it won't happen again. What a scam service has become. Rick the manager, with all his vast experience has an answer for everything. I will never go to Chrysler service again, and will write everyone I can think of. The car has a problem, and I believe they know it. If you can make that kind of money off a battery, it should make someone pretty rich. I called Rick the next day and he acted like he didn't remember me. I was trying to get him to give me a discount or credit. They are crooks in the worse way. Whoa to all of you who do not drive your car enough or work at home Parkway is the worst. Lies and more lies. Guys are nice to your face but stab you in the back. They encouraged me to call Customer care as they knew the dealer is the only one who could resolve this. Hope Mr. Riley likes the scam. More
I took my Chrysler Pacifica in for a A! message on the dash. David the service person said it was the auxiliary batterry and main battery that went bad and needs to be replaced at a cost o message on the dash. He had the nerve to say they are very difficult to get to. My husband purchased the batteries and replaced both batteries in a matter of 5 minutes !!! Disgusting service and what a rip off trying to charge that price. I will never go back to that place again. Charged me $164.00 diagnostic fee for that - and another $164.00 for a diagnostic fee for a door issue - that was a known Chrysler issue and I had the car in previously and they said to wait - now they charge me because it's out of warranty. I work for Mopar and I will never go back to this dealership. Very poor service. More
We made an appointment online for our 2018 Jeep Cherokee to have something checked and repaired. They had serviced this Jeep previously , when we went to drop it off they told us that they don't service Reb to have something checked and repaired. So we have had this jeep for 3 years and no issue servicing it before as we paid cash for repair. Now they state they don't service these vehicles. Called another dealership they state they would service it. ** we will no longer be going to this dealership for new car, used car or service ** Sounds like they pick and choose what they want to work on. I have also taken our other Jeep to Saint Clair for service they are wonderful no issues!!! More

Apparently my 10am was just a write-up appointment and it could take hours for a simple service flash. Don't waste your time as they're just taking your vehicle and storing it for when they're ready and disregarding customer's time. Service Manager Darren is always unavailable. Go elsewhere. More
I took my Jeep Wrangler to Parkway for a brake issue thinking I had a caliper problem. The Jeep pulled hard to the left when braking. The technicians discovered that my problem was being caused by fau thinking I had a caliper problem. The Jeep pulled hard to the left when braking. The technicians discovered that my problem was being caused by faulty brake lines and that the caliper I thought was bad was actually in great working order! I would have never found this problem in my own garage, these guys know their stuff! Who'd have thunk it? There was one disappointment I encountered where the service department was so backed up (not really their fault, everyone likes Parkway) it ended up taking another day longer to repair and being without my Jeep an extra day was very inconvenient. It was April 20th 2022 when I picked up my Jeep with the work completed. When I approached the service manager and told him about my disappointment with the time it took and suggested my own solution to him to make up for the delay, he accommodated me immediately with a smile, a handshake, and thanked me for giving him a solution along with my complaint that would result in my complete satisfaction with my experience. He really appreciated my amiable attitude and was happy he did not have to try to come up with a solution to satisfy me on his own. On the drive home the braking system performed flawlessly! Thank You Parkway! From my whole experience I would recommend Parkway to anyone and everyone for their service needs and I will definitely be returning next time my Jeep needs any work at all. More
I bought my Chrysler 200 2016 from there. Always brought my car there for oil changes and repairs. Completed online appointment assumed I would get my car serviced. Contacted the dealership 9/7/21 in the morning spoke with service they advised me to bring my car in could not provide repairs until the weekend. However following my instincts I called back spoke with a lady she stated she did not see my service order in the system I advised her I have it on my phone. I further asked her could I receive an estimate of my possible repairs and issue. She stated they have been having problems with the service website and someone would call me back. They called me back advised me they could not take my car it could not be repaired for two weeks . I advised the lady someone should have told me this this morning when I talked to the guy in the service department. She told me to check other Chrysler dealerships. I’m disappointed in bad communication plus I’ve been a customer there since 2016. Not too happy 😞 More
We've had service done at this location, that was 2009, went back there again recently, for a recall and to get FOB programmed. Dropped it off at 7am.... never got a call till we called them at 5PM, they said it was done at 11am and they called and left a vm. total BS. i paid for what i wanted....get out to the car, the FOB didnt work, they charged me for it...didnt say they didnt do it, or they had issues...they just charged me. I called and gave them the chance to fix the issue. they denied anything was wrong. HORRIBLE customer service, liars and Schiessters. 2 weeks and no returned phone calls, nothing. I filed for "Services Not Rendered" with my CC company, i won it, of course. So safe your self the trip, the pain and aggravation with these thieves, dont do ANY business with them. More
Purchasing my vehicle was easy. I paid cash and knew exactly what I wanted. Dealing with the service department is an absolute NIGHTMARE! Getting an appointment is a joke.
