Parks Toyota of DeLand responded

We would like to apologize to Ms. Brown for her unsatisfactory experience with our dealership. It should be noted, however, that the facts of the situation are as follows: 1. No deposit on the vehicle in question was ever secured from Ms. Brown 2. Vehicles are never "held" for prospective customers for two week periods of time, they are available for sale if and when someone chooses to purchase them 3. Several attempts were made to contact Ms. Brown that the vehicle in question was purchased on the Friday prior to her arrival two (2) days later on Sunday, October 21 4. Ms. Brown became irate on the showroom floor and made disparaging comments to our staff, including our GM 5. Despite the outburst, our GM apologized profusely for the situation, paid Ms. Brown for gas to cover the round trip, and agreed to try to locate an AWD Sienna for her 6. Our attempts to locate this rare vehicle were unsuccessful and Ms. Brown wound up purchasing her vehicle from a dealer in PA.
