Check work done at another facility On 7/24 I took my car to be checked for work that was done at a different facility. I was so upset when I arrived at parks from the other place .that when Dennis came to ask what service I needed he went above and beyond.he had the technician Pat to check my car. The repair work was a brake booster. After checking they said the relay switch needed to be adjusted. After picking up my 2007 Lincoln mkx I drove it for about 8 miles.when breaking my brakes made a awful sound and the whole front of my car under the hood started viberating so so bad. I took it back to Dennis he then drove it and took it to Pat. Dennis felt it wasn't safe for me to drive. He then put me in a loaners car.Thanks so so so much to him and Pat they found the issue from the other facility. With there knowledge I am now driving a very safe mkx again. Rating dealer's service I had an air bag problem and Larry Mills helped me to alleviate the problem. Larry did not have the needed part so I was given an Enterprise rental v I had an air bag problem and Larry Mills helped me to alleviate the problem. Larry did not have the needed part so I was given an Enterprise rental vehicle provided and paid for by Parks Lincoln. The next morning, Larry call early and told me that the car was repaired and I can drive to Parks to pick up my car. When I got in the car, the air bag light did not illuminate which illustrated that the air bags worked properly. Larry was as usual, very helpful. I travel a long distance to get service whereas there is a Lincoln dealer closer but I travel a long distance because of Larry Mills. More
Greatest Service I've ever experienced. Just stopped in to asked if they could see what I did to my navigation system, which is still under warranty, and they took my car in immediately and Just stopped in to asked if they could see what I did to my navigation system, which is still under warranty, and they took my car in immediately and started checking it out. They did advise me I might have an hour wait which I didn't mind. I truly expected the service dept. to tell me I needed to set up an appointment and was so impressed that they took my car in immediately!! Wow, that's a first. They couldn't diagnose it that late afternoon so set me up in a rental (loaner) car that afternoon and said they would be in touch. It took 2 days to diagnose, get the part and complete the repair but communicated with me so I knew what was going on. When my car was ready Pat Nunez even spent additional time with me explaining what had been done and even went over unrelated questions on how different things worked in the vehicle. As far as I'm concerned they should get a 10 star rating; that is how much I was impressed and appreciated the extraordinary service I received with extra credit to Pat Nunez. Larry Mills was great, the price quoted over the phone was the exact price when service was complete. I have a 2005 Lincoln Navigator , that I bought somewhere else, but he treats me as if I have a 2014 bought there. I must mention that I do live in the deep south of St. Petersburg by the Skyway Bridge. but because of Larry's serve to me each time I am willing to come back. You guys have a jewel there. I needed an oil change and requested detailing as well. They were able to provide me with a loaner, which was wonderful. The car looked amazing when I picked it up. As a Customer and current Lincoln owner I do not like being lied to. The customer service and response I received from the Assistant Service Manager Larry at Parks Lincoln made me feel violated concernin being lied to. The customer service and response I received from the Assistant Service Manager Larry at Parks Lincoln made me feel violated concerning my personal property and invaluable as a new customer. I originally brought my SUV in on 1/13/14 for warranty Service on the sunroof. Two days after receiving the SUV back on 1/16/14, I was returning to Parks Lincoln for the same exact issue. On the second trip to the Parks Lincoln the sunroof was repaired and I was advised the wind deflectors were replaced on both sides. My SUV was pulled up by the valet and I left the dealership on 1/20/14. Several minutes after leaving the dealership I noticed that the Valet key was missing from my key fob. I returned to the dealership within 20 minutes. Upon speaking to Larry I asked for the key and it was not provided. He informed me he did not know where the key was. I asked why would the key be removed if there was no need for it to be removed to complete service on my SUV. He stated he didn't know maybe it fell out. I then asked him if he could run the Vin on the car and create a new key since they misplaced it. He said no, since I did not purchase my Vehicle from Parks Lincoln of Tampa (Which is registered in my name and has a 6yr 100,000 mile warranty on it) it would be a breach of Confidentiality. He then informed me I needed to go home and return with the spare key of which they could make a copy. I later called Central Florida Lincoln in Orlando where I purchased the car and they informed me that I was in the Lincoln system and any Lincoln Dealership could create a new Key with the Vin number from the vehicle. So I went back Parks Lincoln for the 4th time and again asked Larry if they could create me a new Key from my Vin number. I explained to him this is not my first car with a keyless entry and could he explain why the key was removed from the fob in the first place, he still could not explain or elaborate on the need to remove the key. Larry then put in a service ticket to replace the key. With-in 20 minutes I was given a key that opened my vehicle, which I'm pretty sure is my original key. This makes me feel very uncomfortable doing business at this location. I'm putting this up here so other consumers will be aware to check their keys when they have service completed on their vehicles any location. More
