Since I'm now a traveling grandma, I let my hubby talk me into trading my much beloved Elantra for something new. There were no Hyundai dealerships in Lake City so we bought another make. The 1st SUV had a complete power steering assembly breakdown at 198 miles so after many hours worth of hassle/stress from that dealership, we traded it for another like vehicle. It was such a distressing time and assuming that this car would feel exactly the same as the first one, I didn't ask to drive the 2nd vehicle for more than the couple of blocks that this dealership calls a test drive. Big mistake - it definitely wasn't the same feel. Those seats were the most uncomfortable we've ever sat in. After two long trips and a lot of discomfort, we decided it was worth it to lose money to get rid of that vehicle - a very hard decision to make. I tell you all this so you'll know how stressed I was about having to go through another buying experience. I was SO pleasantly surprised. Ivy Lee was our sales rep and she was fantastic!! I wasn't even sure if I could financially manage a trade and hesitated about going into the dealership so she took a lot of time with me over the phone first asking questions and giving me enough info so that I felt it might be worth the hassle. It turned out that there was NO hassle!! Ivy was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and explained all of the features very well. Her whole demeanor is very positive and there was none of the pressure usually associated with car salespersons. It really was a pleasant experience. I am still surprised -I've never been in a dealership like that!! Ivy even introduced me to a service person, took me on a tour of building and explained what I needed to do when it was time for the vehicle to be serviced. I was also quite pleasantly surprised to be able to take a long test drive over various road conditions. Because I was losing money to trade in my other vehicle, I wanted to handle the financial negotiations in a different way than most. Both Ivy and Justin, the sales manager, were willing to talk the way that I wanted to instead of trying to force me into talking "monthly payments" the way most dealerships do. So I am, once again, I am a very happy Hyundai owner with my Sonata. It's great!! It is very comfortable to sit in and the features are exactly what I needed. Because of my great experience with my Elantra, I always recommend Hyundai. Now, because of my great experience at Parks Hyundai, I will always recommend them! More

Well worth the drive Spent hours on end researching and searching for the vehicle I wanted parked in my garage next. Once the decision was made that it would be the Hyundai Tucson, the next step was to find one with the right color combo and options I wanted. Eventually I found what I was looking for at Parks Hyundai of Gainesville, Florida. I sent an email expressing my interest in a vehicle they had in stock and in a very short period of time I was speaking with Justin Benson on the phone. I felt very comfortable from the start speaking with Justin and in a matter of a couple hours we had the major items worked out and I told Justin I would be making the 300 mile drive to swap my 10 year old Volvo for a new Tucson on Monday. On pick-up day arrived at the dealership and met with Justin and his assistant Ivy Lee. Ivy then took over at this point showing the vehicle, explaining all the bells and whistles and going for a test drive. Ivy was very well versed with all aspects of the vehicle like a well seasoned pro and all this after only being at this job for I believe about six weeks. While we briefly waited to get into finance office Ivy showed us service area and helped us schedule our first oil change. Working through the finance process was also very well received and Giorgio despite a computer glitch handled everything to perfection. Overall, I am very happy with my decision to purchase my new vehicle at this dealership. My sincere thanks to all that assisted through the process. More

I had an awful experience previously at another dealership and went in thinking I would get the same service and boy was I wrong. I was greeted by Ivy Lee who by the way was brand new. She asked me the basic questions but the most amazing thing happened after that. She didnt keep pounding me. She took my answers and ran with it. Great customer service. You want to keep a potential customer interested in you and your work? You ask questions about them, make them talk to you. You get so much more info from a customer by letting them speak and she was amazing. Never once did I feel pressured the whole time I was there. We talked, laughed and just enjoyed the day while Justin worked on getting me a fair price for my trade in and payments to where I needed them. He was the most laid back manager I have ever worked with and he will do whatever it takes to help you. Which brings me to the Finance Manager Mike. Literally bent over backwards for me. The whole time Ivy and I weren't talking cars and eating cookies and about getting a new vehicle, Mike was handling his business. The best thing Mike ever did was ask me if I could put a larger down payment on the car. I said no. He never once repeated himself saying I needed to like the other dealerships did. He simply said, "Okay, let me get this to work for you." Still being the pessimistic person I am when it comes to vehicles I had my doubts but here comes Mike like a superhero saying he got it approved and the payments would be a little higher but re assured me thay he wasnt done fighting. Are you kidding me? He's still going to fight for me?? Little did I know, I was already part of the family. I knew right there I was going to get that car. You hear of horror stories at dealerships and everyone has them but not on this day. This day the dealership didn't work for money. They worked for me. The customer service I received was phenomenal. Never again will I "shop around". I found my family and its at Parks Hyundai of Gainesville. Ivy being a few weeks into her Sales Representative life showed great skills and look forward to continuing to do business with her and the rest of the amazing staff. More

Polite, helpful employees and a nice overall atmosphere. I have leased several cars in different dealerships and this was my best and less painful experience by far. The sales and financial team did all they could to speed up the process without breaking state laws. They were helpful and extremely friendly and polite. I dealt mainly with Dan Heskett, a no-nonsense sales person. Ramone and Justin were also very good. Even George, the finance guy, was extremely nice and objective. Overall, a nice experience and a good environment to buy a new car. More

Great sales people. Out salesman was extremly helpful, he greeted us as soon as we parked our car. Even brought our new car inside for us to look at. ( I think it was the day it snowed in florida) I even called him a week after we bought our car and he talked me through unlocking the key switch when it locked and I could not get it to turn in the Publix parking lot. (you have to turn the wheel, and then turn the key) He has gone out of his way to be very helpful. More
