Dissmissive and Unconcerned We are a military family currently stationed overseas. With orders to return stateside in July, my husband began his car search. Since I am visting family nearby, he directed his search to this area. After finding his desired vehicle, located at Parks Chevrolet, he asked if I would mind going to test drive it prior to him purchasing it. He suggested that I verify it was still there before making the drive. Yesterday morning I logged onto the listing and used the offered chat feature. The service was immediate, and they verified the vehicle was still at the location. They asked for my phone number, confirmed with me a 2:15 appointment time, and told me someone would be calling me. A short time later, Brandon called while my mother was speaking on another line. She took a message and his phone number. Shortly after, I returned his call only to wait (per Parks Chevrolet's records) for 0:43 with no answer or voice messaging system. We left home at 12:52 p.m.. At 1:08 my father received a text, from my mother, that Brandon had called, again, to confirm we would be there. She confirmed that we would be there and would probably be a few minutes early. We arrived to their location at 2:00. We sat in the front lobby for a few minutes, then we were placed in Kevin's office by Brandon. Kevin was not in his office at this time. When he entered, he plopped down and said, "This truck (it's an SUV) has had a lot of action on it." He started typing on his computer and said he needed to run some report on it. He left his office and came back with a piece of paper and began telling us that the Jeep had been taken out by someone else and they had it at a mechanic. He then began using his phone. I do not know why. The story then changed to the person was at the bank getting a check. He had no answer (that he was willing to give us anyway) as to how this happened. As we were leaving his office I asked to speak to a manager. He pointed to a glass walled area inside the showroom. When I stepped over, I began speaking with a gentleman who did not identify himeself to me. After coming around to my side, he said he was going to speak with Brandon. After waiting for about 5 minutes, we decided to leave. As we crossed the parking lot, this gentleman flagged us down and had papers in his hand. He began telling me that I had been in touch with a third party via the chat feature, and that he dislikes that feature. Very professional. He then proceeded to tell us that if we would have answered the phone when Brandon called he would have held the keys for the vehicle. We did answer. My mother was taking another call and took his phone number. I returned the call. No one answered. He then tried to tell us that no one answered when Brandon called at 1:00. That was a LIE. We had a text from my mother at 1:08 telling us she spoke with him confirming the appointment. When we showed him the text he just shrugged and said, "All I can say is, 'I'm sorry'." Given the attitude of management, one should discern that this dissmissive and unconcerned treatment is the norm at this business. More

Richard was a great guy. I entered the dealership and was imminently helped. Richard was the first guy but we were unable to haggle the car lower than what was advertised.
