On a trip to North Carolina my 2007 Hummer H3 had an engine light come one. Had it tested at a parts store, it was a cylinder 5 misfire. I was aware that there were head issues with the 3.5 and 3.7 li engine light come one. Had it tested at a parts store, it was a cylinder 5 misfire. I was aware that there were head issues with the 3.5 and 3.7 liter engines, but wasn't sure if that was it. Took it to Parks Chevrolet, they brought me in the next day. The Service advisor JJ came out and talked to me and discussed the potential head issues with this vehicle. They took the engine apart for diagnosis, but even offered to put it back together so I could drive it for the weekend before the head replacement on Monday. I declined and let them keep the vehicle. The vehicle was repaired under warranty, no issues! Nobody tried to sell me anything that wasn't needed. A service was offered to change my front brakes, but I am capable of doing that. I always second guessed dealer service offers, I figured that they were just trying to sell me something, but when I changed the front brakes, they were really bad! Nobody tried to fight me about warranty issues, everything worked smoothly, I've driven the vehicle back to Pennsylvania and have driven 2500 miles since. Hummer is working great! Serivce was great, location was great. JJ and the girl at the payment counter were very nice, helpful, answered all my questions. Thanks very much!
