Stay away! I saw the bad ratings but hoped for the best. It was just like the previous ratings… have an appt but vehicle doesn’t get looked at until hours later I saw the bad ratings but hoped for the best. It was just like the previous ratings… have an appt but vehicle doesn’t get looked at until hours later. I was quoted a price to repair something but when I received a call, it was 3 times that amount. The reason? The service advisor said I told him a different issue, which isn’t true since I actually read the issue off to him based off of the report from the previous automobile shop that looked at it. No good! I will NEVER use Chevy Parks ever in life! More
This dealership service department literally ripped me off and held my truck hostage. I got my truck towed to there shop on a Saturday ( shop isn't open on weekends)! Called the shop Monday and told them off and held my truck hostage. I got my truck towed to there shop on a Saturday ( shop isn't open on weekends)! Called the shop Monday and told them m key was in my the drop box and I was told there is two cars ahead of me and I should get it diagnosed in a few hours! My car doesn't get looked at until Thursday! My transmission has went( not there fault at all nor did I purchased the truck from them, this is solely about their service dept ). I was told that once the inspector for he warranty company comes I will have my truck done and completed in 4 days!! The example they giving me was if they one out and approve the job on a Thursday, I should have my truck back by Weds no later than Thursday of the next week, if they come the beginning of the next week( Monday) you'll have it back Friday!! I agreed and decide to let them do the work! Monday comes, job is approved from the warranty company!! I call them Wednesday because I haven't heard back from Parks Chevrolet to ask the status of my truck, I'm told that it takes a week for the transmission to even show up(the games begin from this point) What can I do now with my warranty company already approving this shop without having to get it towed and diagnosed from another shop being I've already wasted a week and a half with this one and needing my truck, right? I should taken it somewhere else because what is next is stealing! I'm told that it'll be ready the next Thursday, Next Thursday comes the day my truck was suppose to be finished and I'm told the part just came today! That Friday I get a call from "Aaron Ford"saying they charge 145hr for labor and my warranty only covers 105hr so I must bring the difference ( they had my truck for 3 wks and now saying this) "Aaron Ford " told me they can't release it until the difference was paid and it'll be done tues!! But if I pay the extra he can have it done that day( a extra $700 for labor!! Aaron and Cameron scams! They changed the price on me 3 times from $470,$1105 and then over $1700!! Over $1200 extra for a 5hr job difference!! So if my warranty cover $105 a hour for labor and you charge $145 hour ( which is ridiculous itself) 5x40= $200 So I'm just curious how you pulled another $1000 out of that More
On nov 19 i took my Chevy Tahoe to parks because my car temperature gage was not movig reading the engine was cold and the fan stayed on blast even with the car shut off and had a sulfur smell. So they say temperature gage was not movig reading the engine was cold and the fan stayed on blast even with the car shut off and had a sulfur smell. So they say it was a leak in the radiator and that was the cause of the problem so i ask what about the thermostat they said it’s fine. So they fix it and i get my car back. 2 days later i get a call because they forgot to put some parts back on my vehicle that they took off while changing the radiator so i had to leave work early to drop my car off and caught a uber to pick it back up. the fan is running normal now and the temperature never reaches 180 i ask is that normal i was told that’s normal operation temp. Now a month go by on dec 23 after leaving work the same problem happens again fan staying on and temperature gage not moving due to Christmas holiday they were closed that Friday and sat. Me my wife and kids was scheduled to drive to West Virginia to spend Christmas with her 91 great grandmother. We could not find no rentals or a way so we had to stay home and my wife was furious!!!!!!!!!. So i go to dealership 6:00 am Monday morning to tell them about me coming back for the same problem and missing out on holiday with my family and was told i came in with guns blazing i never raised my voice i just told them the frustration i had to deal with my wife missing Christmas with her great grandmother and family. Not to mention i was supposed to be at work at 6 am but had to wait until 7:30 when dealership opened so car could be fixed so I’m missing money again. They did give me a ride to work, But guess what the problem turned out to be…. The thermostat!!! And i told service manager i thought with this vehicle you was supposed to change both of u replaced the radiator he said that’s wrong. So while on lunch break i look up on Chevy forums and find do to the year of my Tahoe there’s a bulletin that states change the radiator and thermostat together…they did send someone with my car to my job but at least they could of filled my tank and washed my car or something i lost time money and a chance of memory’s with my wife great grandmother i am pissed and will no longer bring my vehicle to this shop ever!!!!!! How does a master technician forget to put parts or have knowledge of the specific bulletin on vehicles i mean i did bring a Chevy to a Chevy dealership smfh More
Dishonest and incompetent! If I could give negative stars, I would! My check engine light was on and indicated that there may be a problem with my oil pressure sensor. Took my vehicle in to Parks and stars, I would! My check engine light was on and indicated that there may be a problem with my oil pressure sensor. Took my vehicle in to Parks and was told later in the day that I needed a new oil pump for $1900+ and possibly a new engine! My oil pressure was fine when I brought it in and my engine was running fine also. I pulled my vehicle out and took it to another mechanic. They checked my oil pressure sensor, oil pump, and oil pressure. All good. I've driven my vehicle almost 1,000 miles since and have had no problems. Check engine light has not come back on, oil pressure is reading fine, and engine is running fine, just like it always has. I am completely disgusted with this dealership! More

Excellent Service Department I've been going to Parks Chevrolet in Huntersville for more years than I can remember, and I've always received excellent service. Especially working I've been going to Parks Chevrolet in Huntersville for more years than I can remember, and I've always received excellent service. Especially working with their service adviser, Thomas Fox. I rarely write reviews, but there is no reason to take your car anywhere but here for service. The work is completed correctly, and they stand behind their service at a very fair price. More
