On nov 19 i took my Chevy Tahoe to parks because my car temperature gage was not movig reading the engine was cold and the fan stayed on blast even with the car shut off and had a sulfur smell. So they say temperature gage was not movig reading the engine was cold and the fan stayed on blast even with the car shut off and had a sulfur smell. So they say it was a leak in the radiator and that was the cause of the problem so i ask what about the thermostat they said it’s fine. So they fix it and i get my car back. 2 days later i get a call because they forgot to put some parts back on my vehicle that they took off while changing the radiator so i had to leave work early to drop my car off and caught a uber to pick it back up. the fan is running normal now and the temperature never reaches 180 i ask is that normal i was told that’s normal operation temp. Now a month go by on dec 23 after leaving work the same problem happens again fan staying on and temperature gage not moving due to Christmas holiday they were closed that Friday and sat. Me my wife and kids was scheduled to drive to West Virginia to spend Christmas with her 91 great grandmother. We could not find no rentals or a way so we had to stay home and my wife was furious!!!!!!!!!. So i go to dealership 6:00 am Monday morning to tell them about me coming back for the same problem and missing out on holiday with my family and was told i came in with guns blazing i never raised my voice i just told them the frustration i had to deal with my wife missing Christmas with her great grandmother and family. Not to mention i was supposed to be at work at 6 am but had to wait until 7:30 when dealership opened so car could be fixed so I’m missing money again. They did give me a ride to work, But guess what the problem turned out to be…. The thermostat!!! And i told service manager i thought with this vehicle you was supposed to change both of u replaced the radiator he said that’s wrong. So while on lunch break i look up on Chevy forums and find do to the year of my Tahoe there’s a bulletin that states change the radiator and thermostat together…they did send someone with my car to my job but at least they could of filled my tank and washed my car or something i lost time money and a chance of memory’s with my wife great grandmother i am pissed and will no longer bring my vehicle to this shop ever!!!!!! How does a master technician forget to put parts or have knowledge of the specific bulletin on vehicles i mean i did bring a Chevy to a Chevy dealership smfh More
If you're going to sell a car be honest about the price. I put a 1k down on a used nissan frontier, I told DON what my situation was, I would be there with the rest when my taxes get here well they are here and if I don't drive 4 hours to the dealership they a what my situation was, I would be there with the rest when my taxes get here well they are here and if I don't drive 4 hours to the dealership they are just going to take my money and keep the truck, im done, the immediate need of instant gratification is overwhelming literally causing me so much stress it was affecting my sleep, this is the absolute worst dealership I've ever dealt with, DON you are the xxxxing worst sorry xxxxxxx you are why car salesman get such a bad rap. ....who says "you better put a deposit down quickly someone else is looking at it" maybe you should of said "if you do put a deposit down it will be non-refundable" but you didn't and that is actually very illegal. Dishonest and incompetent! If I could give negative stars, I would! My check engine light was on and indicated that there may be a problem with my oil pressure sensor. Took my vehicle in to Parks and stars, I would! My check engine light was on and indicated that there may be a problem with my oil pressure sensor. Took my vehicle in to Parks and was told later in the day that I needed a new oil pump for $1900+ and possibly a new engine! My oil pressure was fine when I brought it in and my engine was running fine also. I pulled my vehicle out and took it to another mechanic. They checked my oil pressure sensor, oil pump, and oil pressure. All good. I've driven my vehicle almost 1,000 miles since and have had no problems. Check engine light has not come back on, oil pressure is reading fine, and engine is running fine, just like it always has. I am completely disgusted with this dealership! More
Upon arrival at Parks Chevrolet Huntersville on July 9th, 2020 I was approached by a salesman named Sonny. After looking at several vehicles and expressing my wants and needs we found a vehicle that fits the 2020 I was approached by a salesman named Sonny. After looking at several vehicles and expressing my wants and needs we found a vehicle that fits the needs of my family. When I test drove the 2015 Chevrolet Suburban i noticed a few ants crawling around and brought it to Sonny’s attention. He reassured me they would look into it and take care of the problem. Prior to submitting my application for financing I requested the CarFax on the 2015 Chevrolet Suburban. Sonny withheld the information until the actual application was submitted. When it was time for me to sign off on the acknowledgment of the CarFax Sonny literally clinched several pages to his chest that reported accidents. Once I noticed the CarFax was missing pages I cancelled the deal and left the dealership as I felt like there were some shady business practices. On July 10th, 2020 I spoke with the sales manager at Parks Chevrolet Huntersville and he sincerely apologized on behalf of Sonny’s behavior the previous day and reassured me that my new salesman, Joe Coury would take care of me. That afternoon I met with Joe, signed the finance documents and drove off in my new car. That weekend we discovered the Suburban was infested with ants. Ants crawled onto my children while in their car seats, on the dash, into our drinks that were in the cup holders, they were everywhere. That week i dropped the suburban off at Parks Chevrolet and they exterminated the vehicle. On July 17th 2020 i received a call from the finance manager stating that my job has not verified employment and if it’s not verified that afternoon by 5pm I need to return the vehicle to the dealership. Joe called me shortly afterwards and we discovered that Sonny falsified my employment information which caused the confusion on my eligibility to be financed with GMAC. After countless phone calls I was able to confirm my employment and finalize the deal with GMAC. On July 28th, 2020 I had a service appointment to check out my newly purchased Chevrolet Suburban because the transmission is slipping/jumping. Cat, the service director for my ticket informed me that my transmission fluid looked like it had metal in it and they needed to keep my car for at least a day or two. I had to beg for a loaner car because i needed to get back to work. I was told I could not get a loaner car although i witnessed a couple drive up in a black Chevy Tahoe that was a dealership loaner car and they drove off in their mini van that had been serviced. I was eventually given a car to drive back to work. I spoke with Cat several times within the 2 days my car was being test driven to diagnose the transmission issue. At 8am Cat informed me that my car was not in the bay so it was safe to assume my car was being test driven. I called back at 11am to get an update. Car still not in the bay. I called again at 3pm. Car still not back in the bay. At 5pm i called and Cat told me to pick my car up. Nothing is wrong with it. You mean to tell me the mechanic has to drive my car around for 9 hours just to say they did not find anything wrong with it? He came out and I told him how my car was diagnosed with metal in the transmission fluid the day prior and then 24 hours later the same metal could not be found and after the mechanic was able to drive around town for 9 hours he did not find anything wrong. I walked over to the dealership and spoke with Michael Davis and told him about my experience, now with the service department. He did not understand why the service manager told me that it was too late to replace my gas that was used. He explained that all he had to do was put gas in my vehicle, although the service manager told me it was impossible to do. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! I have yet to receive my permanent tag. My temp tag is expired. The general manager Andrew Robin is no help as well. He does not own up to any mistake his employees make. More
