Messed up this time. Have had Vestal service my vehicle several times in the past, and always received top notch service. This time however Vestal dropped the ball badly. Brought in my 07 Hummer H3 on 1/16/19 for: * NC state inspection. * Tire rotation. * Oil / filter / lube. When talking with service writer I stated I only run Mobile 1 synthetic oil. Have run it since 1st oil change on buying vehicle new. Also stated I needed the psi in tires checked. Service compleated, paid bill and left. Now for reason for poor review. Upon arriving home I thought something was right with bill so started looking. * NC inspection - no problem. * Tire rotation & psi check - no problem. * Oil change - cost of oil for 6 qts $23.40. Vestal put regular oil in my vehicle not the synthetic I requested. No where on the ticket was it noted to use synthetic oil so this falls on the Service writer. Also on inspecting my vehicle I found oily hand prints on my drivers door ( below the outside door handle ), hood ( where it was closed ), and when wiping down steering wheel. My customer number on work ticket was 51880. Advisor was Tyler. 1051 I welcome Vestal to respond to this issue. Also I put GMC for vehicle brand serviced due to Hummer not being listed. More
