I have been a Volvo collector for thirty years and have purchased many for my young drivers in the family. I have a large family so this has meant a lot of Volvos! I do all of my own repairs but count on Mariette Picca at Park Place Volvo to let me know when a good used Volvo comes along. I have bought several from Mariette over the years because she is extremely organized and always well-prepared for my visit to the dealership. She knows that I am an engineer that loves efficency...we never waste time when looking at cars! I came in only knowing a model and Conrad sent me a couple ideas. I fell in love with the C70 celestial blue but the bumper was seriously damaged. Piers Morphey was very helpful as our sales person. We live in West Texas, so traveling to Dallas to shop would have been inconvenient and impractical. Most other dealers only wanted to play the game of "you come in, make an offer, and we'll see what we can do..." Piers was professional in every way and gave us solid answers that we could bank on and was competitive in his pricing on both the purchase and the possible trade-in. After we had purchased the car and driven it home, we discovered that it did include the HomeLink feature. In our minds this should have been something as basic as doors and wheels, so we never even thought to ask about it. When we called to find out where this feature was located in the vehicle and learned that it was not included, Park Place promptly offered to install it and make right this irritating manufacturer's design flaw. We greatly appreciate the professionalism of Piers Morphey and the others at Park Place Volvo. This has been a good car-buying experience and we would highly recommend Piers and Park Place to anyone looking for a Volvo automobile. More
