I called a week in advance and shared what my needs were to Shakir Ewell on a 2005 SL500 as well as 2001 SLK320. He listened attentively, took notes and confirmed my appointment. Upon my arrival on the foll to Shakir Ewell on a 2005 SL500 as well as 2001 SLK320. He listened attentively, took notes and confirmed my appointment. Upon my arrival on the following Wednesday, my appointment was not scheduled and there was no indication that I would bring both cars in for service. (That was my first que to turn and run, needless to say, I gave them the benefit of the doubt) He grabbed his scanner and began to re-enter everything I mentioned a week prior to my visit. Nearly $10,000 later, the cars were serviced and fixed so we thought. On the SLK320, the primary reason for bringing the vehicle in for service was for the air condidtioning blowing cold and hot air ... Upon their completion...When the driver brought the car around to me... the a/c was still blowing hot air and the service light was still on. I immediately brought this to the Service Manager's attention, Ted Wernemont; however, that was a mute point. He stated that when they (the Service Technicians/Mechanics) checked the vehicle the a/c worked perfectly fine and that they would consider re-evaulating the vehicle; however, there would be another service charge along with a payment required for any additional repairs that may be necessary. They refused to honor the service provided and then lied about the job being completed accordingly. This was the first part of my dilemma and I will share the second half shortly. Park Place Motorcars of Dallas offers the WORST SERVICE and commitment to Customer Satisfaction I have ever seen. Sleezy, Conniving, Manipulative and Treacherous doesn't begin to describe the experience I've encountered with these people. Beware and Stay away from this dealership! More
I stopped being a 20 year Mercedes Benz owner for one reason...Park Place Mercedes. They are as sleezy and any dealer. As a new resident of Dallas, I went to Park Place to purchase a new CLK500. After reason...Park Place Mercedes. They are as sleezy and any dealer. As a new resident of Dallas, I went to Park Place to purchase a new CLK500. After talking to a salesperson via e-mail, the right car was located and I went in to see and drive it. At that point NOTHING that the salesperson had previously told me was true. The discount of their car, the value of mine etc. I thanked her and left, and upon getting home I saw that the dealer had tried to call me four times (I live less than 2 miles from the dealership) and I had an e-mail from someone identifying themself as a "manager" who wrote an e-mail saying..and I quote the entire e-mail: "Please call me immediately concerning your new car." Isn't that luring. A few days later I e-mailed the Sales Manager AND the General Manager about my experience there....neither one e-mailed me back or called me. Within two weeks, I owned a Lexus SC430 intead and Mercedes Benz LOST a VERY LOYAL CUSTOMER! I guess it is no wonder that Mercedes Benz continues to decline. More
