Hats off to Park Place Motors. I have purchased many cars of my years, and Park Place by far has treated me like a customer that they care about. We live in McKinney and will make the extra drive time because of how we have been treated by Jeff and the whole staff. I recently purchased a pre-owned Mercedes SL from Park Place. A week after ownership I had a tire pressure malfuction light come on. I called my service advisor Grant Lewis. He made a appointment for me to bring the car in the next day. Two pressure relays were bad. These were replaced at no cost to me, even though my car was out of its warranty service period for this issue. This was my first purchase at Park Place Mercedes and my first experience with the service department as well. This service department runs like a well oiled machine. I drove up to service and immediately was greeted by a staff member who asked me who my advisor was. They also had a iPad with a program with all my car information via the Vin number. He then proceeded to write all information down of the purpose of my visit, and all issues in regards to the vehicle I was having. They then told me Grant would be right out to speak with me. Just as that was said to me Grant was there. He told me they would take the car in and walked me over to the car loaner department to get my loaner car. I was very impressed at the level of professionalism, of each employee. I live in Mckinney, and I am looking to purchase a 2014 CLA in a few months as well for my main everyday vehicle. I will gladly go the extra miles and distance to drive to Park Place to purchase my next Mercedes, because of the level of treatment I have received at this dealership. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a Mercedes product. We have many choices in today world, and feedback and sites like this make it so easy for us to make a good choice where to spend our hard earned dollars. I for one will be back to purchase my next Mercedes at Park Place, mainly because I know when it comes time to service it, I will be treated with the respect and courtesy that we do expect when we buy a high quality vehicle. I was all set to buy another Lexus ES until my friends encouraged me to buy something sportier. Since I had no idea what to look at or where to start looking, I simply went to various dealerships to se encouraged me to buy something sportier. I must say, this process was a bit intimidating since there are so many choices out there. However, when I walked into Park Place MB and was introduced to Roby, my stress level decreased immediately. He asked me very detailed questions and listened carefully to what I had to say. He then showed me several cars he thought I might like and, even though I continued to look at other makes and models at other dealerships, I kept coming back to the 2014 C250 coupe. When Roby showed me the Paladium silver coupe they had in stock, it was love at first sight! Not only am I thrilled with the car, I am also most pleased that the entire car-buying process was so painless. I will, most definitely, work with Roby again in the future! More
I went in to Mercedes Benz Park Place Motorcars in Dallas as a return customer with high hopes. Unfortunately, those hopes were slashed with poor customer service, unprofessional workplace social politics, as a return customer with high hopes. Unfortunately, those hopes were slashed with poor customer service, unprofessional workplace social politics, passive aggressive verbal abuse, and a complete absence of follow-up. Being that my prior experiences with this dealership were good, albeit not spectacular, I was shocked to see how a sales associate allowed his obvious jealousy, resentment, and frustration with my financial standing and relationship to blindside what was a shoe-in sale. The sales associate repeatedly suggested entry level Mercedes, even after I expressed interest in specific upgraded models with MSRPs nearly double the cost. I was told that I did not "need all that" and was avoided on many occasions for test drives. The sales associate made my girlfriend feel incredibly uncomfortable with inappropriate advances, and even after I bit my tongue and let bygones be bygones, he continued to belittle me and degrade her. Obviously, his behavior was mortifying and led me not only to other dealerships, but also other sales associates. Sadly, the pressure of "taking" another sales associate's customer deterred others from helping me with a new Mercedes. With competitive dealerships blowing up my phone, conscientiously pursuing a sale, it was utterly shocking to see my sales associates and his peers at Mercedes sleeping on a sale with a smug, unresponsive, cavalier attitude. Financial situations vary, and indeed they can change for the better or for the worse. While my changed for the better, it was not well received at Mercedes Benz Park Place in Dallas, and I will no longer be a customer. The sales associate I worked with, or rather the sales associate who refused to work, was Chris Rupert. I do not recommend him to anyone for any reason. Initially, his energy seems positive, but you will find he talks primarily about himself, is not all that familiar with the cars he sells, and lies pointlessly (e.g., claiming to make an exception to waive a fee that Mercedes does automatically). You have options as a customer, and you should never choose to be treated incorrectly. Especially for a purchase that is substantial. After multiple, unfixable mistakes, Chris Rupert and Park Place Mercedes Dallas missed the mark in a big way. More
