I recently was locked in to purchase a G580e from this dealership, working with Sales Consultant Ben. This was never mentioned during any of our conversations, even as we finalized terms. We’d processed credit and all on Thursday, this news is coming Friday at 4:30PM. We had been in clear contact all day Friday, and the only open item was whether they’d adjust the trade-in by $2–3K. That simple question took over five hours to get a definitive “no.” The issue wasn’t the answer—it was the lack of urgency and communication throughout what should have been a straightforward process. I’d asked to pop by on Thursday to see the vehicle, and was told he’d be unavailable and no one is could show it because he’d half to split half his commission. I respected that and accommodated that, but still… As someone who has purchased nearly 20 vehicles across various dealerships (6 Mercedes Benz), I’ve rarely encountered this level of rigidity, lack of urgency or disengagement. I wasn’t pushing for major concessions—just sharing feedback about how the experience was handled, especially if this was the beginning of a new relationship after moving to Dallas. Instead, I received a follow-up call saying that because I shared my concerns, the store director decided to cancel the order entirely. I was offered the director’s number, but at that point, it felt more like a party line more than a genuine interest in resolving the situation or understanding the frustration.
