I ordered this brand new Mercedes last year. I live 3 hours away from the dealership. When the car came in, it had a defect-the head up display is very dim. I didn’t know about this until I was I live 3 hours away from the dealership. When the car came in, it had a defect-the head up display is very dim. I didn’t know about this until I was there to sign the paperwork. The salesperson promised me it’s an easy fix, and I can either get it fixed at my local Mercedes dealership or bring it back to them. Well, I took it to my local dealership, and they couldn’t fix it. So I contacted the salesperson and see if I can bring it back to him and have him fix it for me. He said no problem. I told him I would be there on the next Thursday, and I will drop it off early in the morning. Then right on the day before I was going to the dealership, the salesman told me it’s a two day job to get it fixed. I told him I only asked for one day off, can I leave the car over there and they let me borrow a loaner car so I’ll go back Saturday to pick it up. He said no. They cannot let me take the loaner out of town. Now you can understand my frustration: 1, they sold me a car that has a defect. 2, they promised they would get it fixed but are unwilling to accommodate me. 3, after I told them my local Mercedes dealership couldn’t fix it, they still want me to go back to them. This is not a cheap Kia or something, this is a almost $150,00 Mercedes. I would expect better experience buying the car, but the whole process has been nothing but frustration and disappointment. So no, I am not happy with this experience and I will not recommend it to others. More
