Paretti sales manager Mike King is a liar! On Friday, December 6, 2019, Paretti manager Mike King, told us that he would sell us our neighbor's car (which was traded in) for $4800 plus the On Friday, December 6, 2019, Paretti manager Mike King, told us that he would sell us our neighbor's car (which was traded in) for $4800 plus the cost of repairing any safety issues. Mike King assured our neighbor (as well as assuring myself and my wife) who had just bought a new car from him that day that he would sell us the trade in. The safety issues we knew about were the replacement of 2 tires and possibly issues with brakes. We were fine with these repairs. Mike King told us that on Monday he would have the car checked for safety issues. On Tuesday, December 10, 2019 we followed up with Mike King and he said that they had not reviewed the car yet. Mike King said that he would call me back once he had the car reviewed. There was no call back, so on Thursday morning I called Mike King back. Mike King said that in addition to the safety issues they decided to repair dents in the door and on the car body and that the car would be SUBSTANTIALLY more expensive than what he assured me on Friday. Mike King said that it is their car and they can do what they want. That is correct Paretti can do what they want. Of course Mike King lied to us several times in saying what he was going to do and then did something completely different. He assured us that he would sell us the car with just safety issues fixed. However, that was a complete lie. So that is what has me upset. More
