Worst experience. I would give negative 100 stars if I could. Don't use this dealer service. Got fault clock spring (remote buttons on the wheel didn't work and airbag light was on) which has extended warranty by Hyundai (service bulletin 17-BE-004-1). The service consultant said they need to perform 2 diagnosis first and I would be charged fee if it was not from faulty clock spring. They came back and said clock spring was bad for airbag light on and wires were bad for remote controls since Module 1 fuse kept blowing. I asked them to test the remote control buttons after replacing clock spring and fuse only. They refused to test unless I got wire replaced. I declined the wire replacement so they charged me for 1 diagnosis. At home, I tested every single fuse with multimeters but found no blown fuse. Opened wheel cover and just reconnected the main wire. Everything worked perfect. Called the service and explained what happened and asked for refund. The service manager, Vivian, agreed to refund it. Waited a week. no refund. Called her back and she said her manager needed to approve it but he was on PTO. After few days, called her again, she said she would get approval and process the refund. no refund. Called her again and she said the refund was processing. I called her like 6 times and finally she said approval was done and accounting would refund it. Waited for a week. No refund. Claimed through my credit card company and credit card company credited the money back. And now Paramus Hyundai sent me an invoice. Still have this fight going. Never, ever going back to this dealer. More

Just got off the phone with Annie i brought my car in today so they can just look at my car door latch problem with my car alarm going off all night i told her in the morning if the cost of the repair is today so they can just look at my car door latch problem with my car alarm going off all night i told her in the morning if the cost of the repair is no less than $190 go ahead she calls me back and tells me the repair is $800 and i was like okay can't afford it right now i have 2 kids this was sudden. She tells me i have to pay $190 just to take a car home with nothing being done i understand the tech needs to check the issue and needs to be paid for his or her time but $190 that is not fair and emotionally hurtful. Annie said maybe they will take the $190 off the intial price of the repair if i pay it and she will talk to the supervisor about it!!!!! How is this right i thought the customer comes first i felt like i was scammed from the beginning. Hopefully a manager sees this post i have been with hyundai for 7 years and was thinking of buying a new car again from them but i will no longer choose this brand because today showed me what type of company they are. More

I received a coupon in the mail, but when I presented at the dealer for service they told me I could not use it because it was for customers who brought their car this year. They want $50.00 for a oil change which is very expensive. All their prices are sky high. Some of the workers customer service was alright but one in particular was not. I went to have a part replaced under the hood of the car. I had to order the part and they charged me $195.00 for labor the day before I even received the service. The service rendered was 30 minutes of labor but was charged for one hour. I then gave American express card to pay for oil change, but was told they do not except it. I gave a $100.00 bill to Vivian at the cashier who tells me she do not have change. So, I tell her well how do expect me to pay for the service. You have up no signs saying you no longer accept American express and then proceeded to tell me you have no change. So, I said I will go get change and return to pay you for the oil change. Vivian says "oh no, you cannot get the car until it is paid for". I asked her so I have to walk on the highway to look for a store to get change? So she says that oh if this was a shoe store you would have to pay upfront. I told her her if you was a real business you would start your day with change in your draw for your customers. Lucky for me I had the keys to the car. She continued to give me lip service with her rude self. Another worker apparently had change for the $100.00 bill. I will never, ever, ever return for any service at this location. She definitely need a class in customer service. Firestone treated me better. More
New this is what customers service needs to be at all Hyundai dealerships. This time they took care of everything. It's not my style to just trash a business, but Paramus Hyundai earned this scolding. When POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE is coupled with POORLY TRAINED Salesman & incompetent Receptionist who schedules Service app Hyundai earned this scolding. When POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE is coupled with POORLY TRAINED Salesman & incompetent Receptionist who schedules Service appointments all culminates to what I will refer to as the Paramus Hyundai xxxx SHOW!! Bought a 2021 Hyundai Elantra in MAY (my 6th Hyundai). Was told that you receive a free oil changes for 3 yrs/36,000 miles. Tried to make my first oil change appt & was told it was 4 weeks out. Planned to take a long road trip so I bought an authorized Elantra Oil Filter from the service department & when to Valvoline for a Synthetic Oil change. Found out that the filter sold to me was the wrong oil filter. Also found out that there were 3 different type oil filters for the Elantra 2021. Obviously the service department was not aware of this. Then I made an appointment for my second oil change & this time made it in advance. That worked out just fine. Now I made an appointment for my 3rd Oil Change at approx. 19,000 miles. Do road trips to Florida to avoid flying due to the pandemic. Was never told that Hyundai has to approve Oil Changes based on time & miles. Was supposed to be informed of this by my salesperson. That did not happen. The receptionist who took my appointment never asked me for mileage or last checked when I had my last oil change. So I arrived at 8am after driving for 30 minutes only to be told that Corporate Hyundai denied approval of my oil change. Then the service manager said you should of told of how this works, which I explained above. Nothing we can do. So you tell me I shouldn't be PISSED. It only shows that at Paramus Hyundai it's only about selling Cars & trying to up sell service which I personally witnessed twice while waiting on-line. No one is communicating with the customer. Again I apologize for having to take Hyundai Paramus to task. But I'm tired of being abused by INCOMPETENCE & they earned this review.. More
