Paramus Hyundai has the absolute worst Service department. Aside buying a new car with issues, starting with recalls, converter, and ultimately the motor, leaving me stranded in two states. The department. Aside buying a new car with issues, starting with recalls, converter, and ultimately the motor, leaving me stranded in two states. The Advisor, Konstantinos is demeaning person that uses his knowledge as power to intimidate seniors like me, he makes you feel stupid. If I chose not do to the list of recommended maintenance repairs costing thousands of dollars, the advisor would get upset and quiz you every word making me feel I am at risk. The Paramus Hyundai owner/s should not tolerate this behavior. Sad to say, I would NEVER, EVER recommend the Paramus Hyuandai. Hyundai headquarters/customer care should be aware of such behavior as well as the State of New Jersey Better Business Bureau and Senior Citizen Advocates. More
This dealership is as shady and cliché awful as they come. My dad was shown a fraudulently false carfax for his own trade in and offered 12000 for his car that had a blue book value of 19500. The frau come. My dad was shown a fraudulently false carfax for his own trade in and offered 12000 for his car that had a blue book value of 19500. The fraudster salesperson attempted to convince my father his car had been in two accidents. When I asked to see. the VIN number of the carfax indicating that, magically ("you'll never believe what happened". Regardless they still wouldn't give my father a fair price for his trade in even after they shamelessly showed him a false phony car fax. After they stole over 7500 from my father in trade in fraud they attempted to add 3,000 to the price of the car at the vey end of the deal. They kept my 81 year old father at their dealership for 8 hours that day in an attempt to tire him out wear him down and squeeze every fraudulent dollar out of him. Do not use this dealership. Caveat Emptor. Buyer Beware. The Better Business Bureau will hear from us next. More
The service department is the most expensive on the planet. My check engine light went on and they charge $410.00 to check it out. They charge $145.00 for an oil change. This is my second Hyundai Santa planet. My check engine light went on and they charge $410.00 to check it out. They charge $145.00 for an oil change. This is my second Hyundai Santa Fe Sport and I love it. However, I avoid going to Paramus Hyundai. More
They'll hold on to your money for weeks even if the repair is fully covered under warranty. Avoid this dealership unless you want a headache. repair is fully covered under warranty. Avoid this dealership unless you want a headache. More
Verry, verry, bad experience at this dealership. Rude, thieving people. If you decide to use this dealership, be very careful. Make sure you read EVERYTHING on the contract before you sign. Don't le Rude, thieving people. If you decide to use this dealership, be very careful. Make sure you read EVERYTHING on the contract before you sign. Don't let that finance manager use is thieving tactics on you. They are really good at it. After all, its their job. I was lulled into a friendly atmosphere, offered coffee, jokes, then got stabbed in the back. After complaining about the treatment I suffered, the General Manager called me a little xxxx right in the showroom and in front of customer and other employees. Costumers actually got up and left from being uncomfortable watching what this dealership did to me. I tried to wright a review for this place, and my access was denied. Imagine that? This car was so overpriced, I threatened to call the Better Business Burau and that finance manager offered me $4000. 00 to, as he said, "make this go away." This review has been posted on someone else's computer because my access to the website was denied. Low-life car dealers work at Paramus Hyundai, go someplace else. Good luck. More
This review had to be written on a friends computer because when I went to their website, Paramus Hyundai denied my access and does not want to to post a review. The very worst dealership in New Jersey because when I went to their website, Paramus Hyundai denied my access and does not want to to post a review. The very worst dealership in New Jersey. Thieves and unprofessional people work there. The finance manager took advantage of an old man and publicly humiliated me. I never bought a car before and was naïve about the tactics of car dealers. I bought a car, tricked into signing, and wound up paying $12,000.00 over list price. Not a typo, 12,000.00 over list. When I asked the General manager to show me the the extras from the contract that added up to $12,000.00 over list, he told me to see the finance manager. When I explained I lost trust in this man for over charging me 12,000.00 over list and would like to talk to someone else, the General manager, in front of other costumers and employees then called me "a little sh8t." I was embarrassed and humiliated and still bothered by such treatment. Even subtraction dealers fees, taxes, and interest, only came to $3000.00 but still $9,000.00 over list. I insisted of being shown how I paid $12,000.00 over list till the finance manager offered me $4000.00 to as he said, "make this go away. I would have agreed, but I would have to sign now, but get paid in six weeks. I said, pay me now, and yes, this will go away, but wouldn't' do that. Also, the name the finance manager used, was really not his name. Why? This place is full of liars and thieves with no soul. Even cooperate wouldn't even take my call after I told them the story. I am calling the tax fraud number because of the fake name. Who knows, that finance manager might be holding back taxes. This is not over, lawyers are involved now. I know I wont get money back, but I want people to know so it may not happen to them. I will be writing reviews about Paramus Hyundai on many other computers, because as I said, my access is denied because this dealership does not want this kind of story out. Also, when I do get to read other reviews, its always the same thing. Thieve, liars, and terribly professionalism. this is actually the short version of this story, but like I said, a had to use a friends computer and I don't want to abuse the time. More
On August 31, 2023, I bought a car from Hyundai in Paramus NJ. This dealership not only took advantage of me and my old age, but the General Manager called me a "little s8it" when I questioned him as Paramus NJ. This dealership not only took advantage of me and my old age, but the General Manager called me a "little s8it" when I questioned him as to why my car was $12,000.00 over list price. Also, the finance manager used a different name during our deal, then his name actually was. Why? Although I accepted being tricked into signing an overpriced vehicle, that was my mistake, however all I wanted to know, what on the contract added up to such an overcharge. Dealer fees, taxes, interest, and other miscellaneous charges added up to only $3000.00. Still, where did the rest of the $9,000.00 over list price come from? After persisting on knowing how the price I paid for the car was so far over the list price, the finance manager then offered me $4000.00 to, as he said, "make this go away," however I would have to sign a waver saying I would not complain to the Better Business' Bureau or to Hyundai. However, after signing, I would have to wait six weeks to get the money. At this point, I had no trust in the dealership or anyone one working there. Again, I need to use other peoples computers to write this review because the Hyundai has blocked me from there website. DO NOT USE Hyundai of Paramus. They are evil xxxxx that call customers names and publicly embarrass coustmoors. More
Sorry to say that I have had the most uncomfortable experience with Hyundai of Paramus in Paramus New Jersey. They have taken advantage of an old man like me and tricked me into buying a car $12,000.00 experience with Hyundai of Paramus in Paramus New Jersey. They have taken advantage of an old man like me and tricked me into buying a car $12,000.00 over sticker price. I was lulled into NOT reading the contract. The finance manager who left me alone in his office, took the contract with him. After quite a while, the finance manager came back into the office, put the papers in front of me, pointed where to sign, and like a dope I signed. Thinking back, don't you think a reputable manager would have said, "Here is the contract, read it?" But ok, that was my stupidity. I have never bought a car or anything quite expensive in my long life and was naïve and excited, and the finance manager smelled it. Once I started complaining that I felt rushed with confusion, the General Manager came in the office and called me "I little xxxx. All in plain ear shot and sight of other customers and employees. I did not deserve to be publicly humiliated by this dealership. After all, I was spending thousands of dollars and charged $12,000.00 over the list price. Also, it turns out, the name of the finance manager I was told was not really his name. Why would he do this? Once I refused to leave without knowing what charges from the contract added up to 12,000.00 over list, I was offered $4000.00 to "Make this go away," as the finance manager put it. I was to sign a statement that I would not complain to the Better Business Burau of Hyundai cooperate. I was willing to sign if I got the payment, but was told it would take six weeks. At this point I had no trust for this dealership. Public humiliation, being cursed at, tricked, lied to, fake names, and beaten, is my new car experience. Hyundai of Paramus has taken the joy out of my new car. Every time I look at it, I get knots in my belly. More
