Slime - don't go here. The salesperson used high pressure tactics and wasn't even knowledgeable of the model and its features. Typical dealer nonsense. They made a deal with me and when I came back they told me they cant make the deal for that price anymore and that I would have to pay $1000 more!! I spoke with the manager on duty and he said he doesnt know who authorized the original price until I told him it was you! He had the nerve to say he doesnt remember. The salesmen Khaled lied to me because I asked what other charges were involved and he said just tax! These guys just give you a low price, make you salivate and then try to screw you when it comes down to making a deal. The worst dealership I had ever had the displeasure of dealing. Go to hell you criminals!! More
Stay away from this place. Went here for the big Duh event. Salesmen new nothing of the vehicle, I guess this is where the "Duh" comes into play. Recently my car broke down and Hyundai Roadside Assistance towed my car to Paramus Hyundai. When I spoke to the Service Manager he told me that all the car needed was maintenance work done; I was Assistance towed my car to Paramus Hyundai. When I spoke to the Service Manager he told me that all the car needed was maintenance work done; I was charged $700. On my way home from picking up the car, the car stalled again and it was towed back to Paramus Hyundai. After a second look, the Service people were able to diagnose that radaitor was causing the car to stall. This leads me to believe they did not look at the car and just felt they could sweep the dirt under the rug and claim that all the car needed was maintenance work. The service department manager misdiagnosed the proplem and overcharged me for work that it did not need. I trusted Paramus Hyundai to price me fairly and not try to rip me off by adding things that were not needed like, windowshield wiper fluid and an oil change! When we confronted the Service Department Manager, he claimed that he was in the right because I gave him authorization. I'm not a trained mechanic, but he told me this is what was needed to fix the problem. I trusted him to give me a fair diagnosis! Fast forward two weeks, and I still do not have a car. They never offered a loaner nor was there ever an update to the car. On all occassions we had to contact him for an update and most of the time he was never there to pick up the call. He also said that his voice mail was broken and that's why he was never able to return calls. Likely excuse??!! This whole experience has been a huge inconvenience and a terrible headache. I'm very inclined to buy another car and wash my hands of Hyundai. Their services, like Roadside Assistance and Warranties, at first seem attractive but don't be fooled, they have no idea how to coordinate a tow or price people fairly. If you have a hyundai and are considering get service done at Paramus Dodge Hyundai stay clear, go somewhere else, these people will rip you off and look for items that they can charge you that are are not covered under the car's warranty. I have had a horrible time with this dealer. First, they harassed me when I was buying the car by telling me the only way I got the price quotes I did was because the other sales people were attracted to me harassed me when I was buying the car by telling me the only way I got the price quotes I did was because the other sales people were attracted to me. Second, I brought my 10 month old Santa Fe in to fix a fuel gauge light problem and when I got the car back from the $400 worth of 15K miles inspection, there was suddenly a new noise coming from my car. I have been in twice to fix the noise and both times they returned the car without fixing it. Now I am about to go in for the 3rd time and they have been very rude throughout the process. Also, the service advisor winks at me and has touched me inappropriately on several occaisions. When I brought all this to the attention of the manager, he yelled at me and told me he didn't believe me. He did not realized my car was less than a year old and is still covered by the warranty. He accused me of lying and trying to take advantage of him to get a free service. I requested a loaner car because I did not feel it was right that I should be in inconvenienced due to thier mistakes. Then, he accused me of lying just to get a loaner, which makes no sense. All the facts were already entered into the system the first time I brought car. The manager never bother to listen or trying to understand the frustration I was having. After they fix my car I will never go back to them again. There is no place at Hyundai to log a complaint against these dealers except here. I wish there were someone at corporate who would help me. More
