So far all my visits to Hyundai Paramus have been great. They've always had parts where other Hyundai dealers have not. They get the job done. They are the least painful of all the dealers I've been to. Ann They've always had parts where other Hyundai dealers have not. They get the job done. We purchased a 2011 Hyundai Sonata and then sold it about a year later. Because we purchased an extended warranty on the vehicle we were due a refund of approx $2500. My husband contacted the dealer multip a year later. Because we purchased an extended warranty on the vehicle we were due a refund of approx $2500. My husband contacted the dealer multiple times and left several messages in order to get the information submitted so we could get our refund and nobody was calling him back. He finally called and started threatening to contact the BBB if nobody returned his calls. The receptionist transferred him to Eric Bennett. Eric submitted the paperword but when we tried to contact him for a status, we never received any return calls. When we called the dealer and asked to speak to him, we were transferred directly to voice mail. Emails were not returned either. I have NEVER dealt with such poor customer service in my life. I couldn't believe that someone would so blatently ignore our situation. I finally had to call the corporate offices of Hyundai and they called the Paramus dealership to get me a status on my refund. Eric Bennett is the WORST sales manager I have ever dealt with and because of him and his service, I would never in a million years purchase another car from his dealership. More

Your salesman, Robert Weber, assisted me with making my decision to lease a 2012 Sonata. At that time I was currently leasing a 2010 Toyota Camry and had 6 months remaining on my lease. Part of my agreem decision to lease a 2012 Sonata. At that time I was currently leasing a 2010 Toyota Camry and had 6 months remaining on my lease. Part of my agreement with Robert was that your dealership would pay off the 6 remaining payments on my Camry. On May 10th, I received a call from Robert Weber who told me that the pay off amount they got was $1380 and that they would not pay anything more. He tried stating that maybe the last $276 was a disposition fee or something of that nature and that it wasn’t Hyundai’s problem. It’s simple math. When I sat down with your salesman and we looked up with maturity date of my lease with Toyota, it said November 1st 2012. So from April 21st to November is 6 months. My car payments were $276 a month x 6 months is $1656. He argued with me that $1380 was the number he came up with so that’s all he will do for me. I contacted Hyundai’s Consumer Affairs Department who took note of my complaint and contacted your Sales Manager Eric who indicated to the case manager that he was willing to set up an appointment with me to work this out. I reached out to Eric on three occasions and he is clearly avoiding my calls. This is completely unprofessional of him.Your salesman Robert Weber explained to me about how I will be receiving a survey in the mail and preached to me how imperative it was that I gave him a score of 10s across the board so that he was eligible for an incentive bonus. I will not be giving him nor anyone in your dealership a positive review. In fact, when people compliment me on my vehicle, I will be sharing this regretful experience with them to deter anyone from ever doing business there again. You might dismiss me as one disappointed customer, but I would like to remind you that word of mouth advertising is a force to be reckoned with. More
I came to this dealership trying to purchase a tsx they had on stock although the price they gave me was high I was still offering to pay for it that's how much I liked the car. I gave them a deposit so th had on stock although the price they gave me was high I was still offering to pay for it that's how much I liked the car. I gave them a deposit so they wouldn't sell it to anyone else to make a long story short I went two days later to sign and pay and take the car with me and come to find our they sold the car without even letting me know. That was extremely unethical and horrible business. I don't recommend this place to anyone. Totally disrespectful and dishonest. And to make it even worse everyone said it was the manager who approved the sale even though the vehicle already had my deposit. More

From the Paramus. I went in having only negative experiences purchasing a car and was expecting the same, but I must say I was presently surprise. From the moment I walked in the door, the sales representatives made me feel welcome. They were not over bearing, but they were there to answer any questions you may have. I had the pleasure of being helped by Vinnie. Vinnie had a very professional appearance about him. He was well dress and put together, and over all very friendly. Vinnie listened to everything I had to say and to what I was looking for and he made sure to steer me in the right direction. I told Vinne what I wanted, why, and what I was looking to spend. He showed me exactly what I was looking for, and didn’t waste my time trying to sell me something that was more than I could afford. He is there to help with anything he can. He will bend over backwards to make sure your buying experience goes as smoothly as possible. Vinnie is friendly, charismatic, informative, helpful, knowledable, kind and honest. From start to finish, he will be alongside you every step of the way. More

We also My wife and I have purchased two other vehicles, a Chrysler 300M and Town and Country van from this dealer group over the past few years. We also have had all of our services and repairs done by them. They are always courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to do business with. That is why when we decided to purchase another new vehicle, we chose to deal with them again. After investigating what vehicles they had available, we chose to buy a Hyundai Sonata Limited. I have always found this dealer to have a large selection of vehicles to choose from in a variety of colors and styles so we had no problem finding the exact choice of color and options that we desired. The salesman was very knowledgeable and helpful about the vehicles themselves, and also about all the incentives and programs available to us. This made our buying experience very easy and we closed our deal quickly. We could not be happier with our new vehicle and much thanks go to the dealership and its wonderful staff. More
I came to test drive a 2012 Hyundai Sonata Limited over a week ago. The Sonata was hands down a beautiful car. Then went to test drive some other vehicles at different dealerships (not Hyundai). I came b week ago. The Sonata was hands down a beautiful car. Then went to test drive some other vehicles at different dealerships (not Hyundai). I came back this past Friday after work with friends to drive the 2012 Hyundai Sonata Limited again. I called ahead to make sure Jack would be available and he was waiting for me. He is a terrific salesman. Very knowledgeable about his product. I was not certain about what color I was interested in, but Jack found a Pacific Blue Pearl 2012 Sonata Limited with all the features I was looking for on their lot. It was gorgeous. After having an entertaining discussion with Tommy (sales manager) on price, we made a deal. By 8:45pm Friday night, I was driving home in a beautiful new car. I could not be happier and Jack was great to work with. Sunday, I emailed him with a question and first thing Monday morning he not only responded via email, but also called me. He is efficient, attentive and he demos a car very well. Jack paired my cell phone and gave me a detailed lesson on using the navigation system. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Thanks again, Jack for a great experience. More
I went in today with my girlfriend with a plan to lease a 2012 Sonata GLS for $235/month (36 months, 12k miles/per year) and had negotiated that price for "$0 down". Despite my attempts to clarify that I wan 2012 Sonata GLS for $235/month (36 months, 12k miles/per year) and had negotiated that price for "$0 down". Despite my attempts to clarify that I wanted all fees rolled over into the payment before I stepped into the dealership, this dealer tried to pull a fast one when it finally came time to sign the paperwork. Before I continue, I will say that our salesperson, Robert Weber, did an overall great job. He picked us up from a train station about 15 minutes away, and paid full attention to us throughout the whole day. He was friendly, answered our questions, and made sure we understood everything about the car. I would give Robert a 5 out of 5 stars. As for the rest of the experience, we were not happy. After waiting almost 2 hours for the finance department to check my credit (we were finally approved for the top tier and $235/month deal), we were charged $1560 for all the "fees". This included a $200 charge for window etchings we did not want, but were told were already on every car. It also included a $400 "doc" fee, which just covers their paperwork and really seems like a simple scam. Their was the standard $595 acquisition fee, and $350 for DMV fees. After begrudgingly agreeing to pay that fee, we finally sat down with the finance department and their rep was not particularly friendly. He told us right away we owe another $1333 for "taxes". At this point we were ready to roll back the whole process and walk out, and magically they decided to waive the $1333 tax fee. They also apparently did not charge us for the first month's payment, which tells me they realized we caught them in their greedy attempt. As a young couple without too much experience leasing, I think they expected us to nod our heads to anything they put in front of us. We finally got the deal and ended up with the $235/month, "$0 down", and $1600 total out of pocket for all the fees. I assume this dealership (and probably all the others) operate with similarly shady practices all the time to beef up their bottom line. With all that said, if you go there and are informed, they do have a solid inventory and a good location. I would definitely recommend Robert Weber as your salesperson, as he did the best he could and was attentive to us. Long story short: Robert Weber was great, but be careful of the finance options and the attempts to get more $ out of your pocket. Also, the car is brand new and we already love it, so we are happy but it did take almost 5 hours of our time. More
