When I came to the dealership I was paired with sales rep Arthur David. At the end of the ordeal when he gave me his business card, he said "see, my full name really is two first names, I didn't lie abo Arthur David. I came to the dealership with my wife after visiting two others. We were shopping around for a specific color and the Preferred Package of the Hyundai Elantra, so essentially we knew exactly what we wanted to get. We called ahead of time asking the dealership if they had the exact car we wanted to buy on their lot, and they said yes. When we got there, Arthur sat us down at his desk and then told us he has to move a few cars to get/find our car on the lot. When he came back he told us that when he was getting the car he realized that it didn't have the optional package we wanted. I don't know whether the lies started the moment we were told on the phone that the car we want is in their lot, or whether that person simply made a mistake. Regardless, I do know that Arthur himself went into full blown lying mode at this point. He told us that the package we wanted to get was no longer produced by Hyundai, and that he has "a few cars from 3 months ago" that came with the package that he can sell us. Of course this was complete BS since Hyundai actually ADDED things (heated front seats in particular) to the Elantra Preferred Package for 2013, rather than discontinuing it. He then told us that "sometimes Hyundai's website is wrong" as he pretended to check what is says, along with a continuous string of more lies. This was all done in an attempt to get us to buy a different car than the one we came for. Needless to say after wasting a lot of our time we simply left with nothing. The next day we went to another Hyundai dealer (the fourth one we visited at that point) and ended up getting the car there. While I can't speak for the quality of the other sales reps, the fact that we were misled on the phone into coming there makes me suspicious of the dealership as a whole. The sales staff I dealt with in the other three Hyundai dealerships were very courteous and professional in comparison. More

I brought my girlfriends car in this weekend after not being able to get it repaired correctly at two other auto shops. Tony was real helpful and made us feel comfortable by not only explaining how my car works, but also explaining the procedure on checking it and completing the repair. We got a breakdown of what we needed to do as well as what other suggestions that he had and at all times, he made sure we understood all of our options. I even listened as he took the info from the mechanic and translated into a language that we understood when he explained it to us. This guy knows his stuff and also helped answer my questions about my other car. The car was ready when promised at the accurate price that I was quoted with no suprises which is not what we had expected based on my experience with other shops. We actually had a good experience having our car repaired. I don't know why its so hard for other places to get it right but these guys sure did. Thanks Tony. More

My experience with Hyundai of Paramus has been great, from the customer service, sales representatives, and most important to me is the service of the dealership. For me the face of Route 4 Hyundai is Annie, she is the perfect picture of customer friendly. She knows you by name greets you like family and definitely knows your car and what is needed. Annie is the face of Paramus Route 4 Hyundai and the reason my Hyundai is only serviced and cared for by the dealership. Wouldn't go any where else. Joe D More

This time, we couldn't believe how quickly we drove off the lot with the vehicle. There was no run-around, no haggling, and no doubt about whether we were being treated with respect and honesty. Jefferson was able to close the deal for us within 90 minutes, from the time we arrived to the time we put the key in the ignition. He listened, and demonstrated that he understood what we needed and didn't try to change our minds or snowball us. He gave us exactly what we asked for, from monthly payment amount, to the model we were hoping to purchase. We can't say enough about how professional, dedicated, and friendly Jeff is. I have given all great ratings because i received the car i wanted and for the great price i wasn't expecting!. Worse car buying experience of my life, seemed like i was being rushed. went to the dealership on labor day weekend(mon) and was given a new salesman, roy, who it turns out should never have been on the floor. I was told by Roy that the 2013 Sonata i was leasing had remote star given a new salesman, roy, who it turns out should never have been on the floor. I was told by Roy that the 2013 Sonata i was leasing had remote start through blue link, didnt have floor mats, and had a 17 gal tank. I leased the car and learned the next day it did NOT have remote start, it does have floor mats, and an 18 gal tank. went back to the dealership on thurs and related the above false hoods to Vinnie, a sales consultant, and his response was he felt terrible about the wrong information given and yes a salesman should have known the facts but there was nothing he could do. Really? A real dealership would have asked the salesman if the above facts were correct, and when given the truth would have apoligized and offer to put in the remote start free of charge. Had that been done I would not be writing this review. Never would I recommend this dealership to anyone. They tell you anything to sell you a car, even lie, and then tell you, sorry. More
