Service Department was Terrible customer service horrible. I have been dealing with Papas for years now and have always purchased all my parts thru this location and never have had a issue. This past Thursday September 3rd and stopped into the service department to ask a question in regards to the locking lug nuts on my vehicle when i purchased my 2014 Dodge Durango RT they did not give me that locking Key so i needed the service department to take off the lug or basically tell me how i can purchase one ... the lady behind the counter was very short with me and gave me a horrible attitude she basically told me they had no time for me that day i had no issue with this and asked if i can come back she told me they are booked there are people in front of me getting service and to come back in a week... i was appalled with the attitude and left.. I proceeded to Crowley Dodge in Bristol and they took me right in and assisted me and did what i needed and did not charge me a dime needless to say this is my new Dealership i will visit... More
service As I was driving my Jeep Patriot from NY to CT, I was just getting on to RT 9 when I noticed a warning light came on over the temperature gauge. As I As I was driving my Jeep Patriot from NY to CT, I was just getting on to RT 9 when I noticed a warning light came on over the temperature gauge. As I was driving, my car was loosing speed. Eventually I had to pull to the side of the highway and shut the car off for a few minutes.. when I started it again I could tell that it wasn't right. No speed, the light remained on and there was a whining sound I could hear. I had to pull over 4 times before I made it to Papa's Dodge. When I went inside just to see if someone can come out and just look the warning light and just to see how it doesn't move when I step on the gas the man at the desk said no one can look at it now. I just wanted someone to look for a second just to see what is happening to it so they would have a reference later when they worked on it. I didn't expect anyone to fix it right away but even the manager said no one can look at it . everyone was busy. I was pleading with just to look at it but they wouldn't have anyone take a minute and look at it. I buy all my cars from there and I do all my service from there so I was upset that no one could take a minute and look at my car. They got me a rental for the day and said they would look at it later in the afternoon.. I got home and about 2 hours later the guy from the desk called me and wanted to know what the warning light looked like .. I was so upset with him right then because when I was there I ask him to have someone look at it to see it so they would know what it looked like, and they didn't want to then and now they are calling me to find out what it looked like. I was more upset now . Two hours after that I called them to see if they found the problem and they informed me that they checked everything on it and they could not find anything wrong with it. if they only checked it when I first brought it in they would have saw there was a problem . now I have to drive this car and hope that it doesn't happen again . Needless to say I am not happy at all with your service department.. So I am rethinking even going back there for service and or buying any other vehicles from there. I am not happy at all. More

Awful Service Department Awful service! They fixed my car and 3 weeks later the same thing is broken again! When I called they had to call me back and it took 4 hours for a Awful service! It's my AC and Pauline tried to first tell me that they didn't work on it when they had my car. Good thing I still had my receipt to prove to them that they did and they were like "oh,yeah". Anyway, I'm without AC now and they can't take my car in for another week and a half - it's August people and they broke it and supposedly can't look at the car for another week and a half. Spend your money somewhere else! Pauline was clueless and Jim was plain rude and kept interrupting. Unfortunately, I would go somewhere else but can't now because THEY BROKE IT and I asked them if they would pay for it if I brought it somewhere else and they said no. More

She got back to us right away on Monday morning and suggested we should talk to the service department whom she had already told of our problem. We made arrangements to bring the truck to New Britain even though we live in Mass., and the oil was changed and the oil plug replaced - no questions asked! I would certainly refer Papa's to anyone looking for a friendly place to buy a new or used vehicle! More
New tires shot within two weeks I have been back to the dealer several times with the same issue. My Dodge Ram 3500 dually only has 29,000 miles on it and it is eating tires for breakfast. I brought it to the dealer two times already to have a front end alignment performed. Once aligned I had another set of tires installed. Within two weeks the front tires were shot. The tire shop I used said they have never seen tires that bad in such a short time.I brought it back to the dealer again and they performed yet a third alignment and again it was out. I'm insisting that they compensate me for the brand new tires that are already shot and they refuse. They now have me waiting over an hour to speak with a manager wasting my time. More
