Matt and Chris from the service department are very professional and courteous. The shuttle service driver, Bob, is an excellent driver, punctual and professional. The service area is very clean and makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. Also, the waiting area is very nice and the restrooms are immaculate. I will continue being a customer at Papa's Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram. -Edna More

Terrible Service Dept. Dear Mr. Papa, I am writing to you in hopes that you can bring resolution to a summer of being dragged through many loops by the service de Dear Mr. Papa, I am writing to you in hopes that you can bring resolution to a summer of being dragged through many loops by the service department at Papa's Dodge in New Britain, CT to only come out spending unnecessary money that I should not have. In August 2016, last year, I had my car in your service dept. to have the rear differential repaired. Less than a year later this past June 2017 I had problems with it again. I brought it back to your service dept and they fixed it and I got it back in a day, 6/20/17, at no cost since it was still under warrantee. The day after I got my car back, I was driving on the highway and the entire car started to vibrate, it was not doing this prior to the differential repair work. I contacted your service department and brought it back. I took the foreman, Dane, out with me for a ride and I was able to duplicate it. He had me get off the highway and drive backroads back to the shop. The car only did this when on the highway. On that day, 6/21/17, I was given a rental at no cost but encouraged to consider a trade-in. I told them no thank you as it was not part of the plan at this time. I went back and forth with your service dept 2-3 times and not once did they ever look at the work they had just done during the time they had my car. I may be a novice, but if it was not doing this before the differential work was done, maybe they should check that first. But every time I asked Dane, he insisted that the mechanic who did the work was the "best" and that maybe its time for a trade-in. After they had my car for a week, on 6/29/17 I went back and the Dane stated he thinks its the rear drive shaft. I honestly disagreed with him, as that's a hard part to damage and I don't do off-roading. But., none the less, I trusted him and agreed to have this repair done. I was not willing to put in a new one, so on 7/3/17 I picked up my car, $194.30 later, I paid to have the drive shaft replaced. The following week the vibrating started up again. I contacted the service depart to bring the car back in, but I was going to be away on vacation, so I was not able to bring it back until the middle of July. On July 17th I brought the car back. Once again, I went back and forth with them a couple times dropping my car off and picking it up again. They unplugged the anti-lock breaks saying that maybe it was seizing up, once again letting me know I should think of a trade-in. I contacted them once again as the vibrating still continued and this time I informed them that just the previous day the car did the vibrating again and this time it did not stop as quickly and there was a burning smell coming from the drivers rear tire area and you could feel heat coming off it. I dropped it off once again on 7/31/17. Once again discussing the same issues with Dane. I was asked to go for another ride along with him, which I did not see a point in doing as its the SAME issue. He agreed and tossed out the thought of a trade-in again. I told him no and that I just wanted the issue resolved and that I was not interested in this back and forth any longer. I received a call the following day and was told they checked the rear differential and needed to replace parts. Something they should have checked a while ago. In addition, I was very upset because I paid to replace a drive shaft that NEVER needed to be replaced because they refused to look at the differential to begin with. After they had my car for 2 weeks, I picked it up on 8/14/17. They stated they replaced the differential parts but said nothing of the burning except that maybe it was a caliper, but never checked it. On 8/23/17 the vibrating happened again along with the burning smell and heat coming from the drivers side rear tire. I immediately brought it to a mechanic close to home as I was not comfortable driving in fear the car would catch fire. I picked it up on 8/25/17. What I was told by the mechanic made me thoroughly disgusted. They stated that when they went under and looked, what they saw was that from excessive heat from the left rear parking brake being installed backwards it warped the rotors which now had to be replaced, this is also all documented in the invoice. So, when Papas put my differential back on and everything back together, they installed the parking brake incorrectly which then cost me $507.10 for the rotors and $70.10 for the rental during that period of time. In addition, I also spent $194.30 for a drive shaft I did not need. I am not sure who is working in the service department in your store, but based on this experience I am not sure that they know what they are doing. I am a single mother living on one income. I have had to take time off work to go back and forth to your store all summer long. This has been nothing but a huge inconvenience that has jeopardized my job as well as taken time away from my child. I have never been treated so poorly and "jerked" around so much in my life. It appears to me that they are incompetent and all they want to do is push me to buy another vehicle instead of fixing my car. I have been nothing but a loyal customer, but now I will never step foot in that service department ever again. I already filed a complaint with Chrysler last week. More

Received email a couple days before appointment as a reminder. Received a reminder phone call day before the appointment and re confirmed said appointment. When I arrived at the dealer I wad told they don't honor appointments for oil changes and it would be first come first serve with an hour wait. Thanks for wasting my time. Won't make that mistake again. More
Poor service I purchased my Jeep Grand Cherokee certified pre owned from Papa's Dodge back in December of 2015. The sales staff was nice and overall easy to deal w I purchased my Jeep Grand Cherokee certified pre owned from Papa's Dodge back in December of 2015. The sales staff was nice and overall easy to deal with. I had a couple of issues with the vehicle following the sale. I had a small oil leak under the vehicle. I did a quick search for common problems with oil leaks in jeeps, and found that it was likely the oil filter housing since that is where the leak was coming from. I brought my vehicle to them and described the issue. I also told them about my research of the problem. They took the vehicle in for service and when I received it back, they told me it was the oil filter. I told them that I was quite certain it was not the oil filter since I had just replaced it a few days prior. They told me to drive it and see if the leak continues. By the time I got it home, it was already leaking. I called them back immediately and had to bring the vehicle back the next day. They inspected it again and said they could not find anything wrong. They said it is just some oil that splashed in that area during service. I insisted it was not because This was happening with the original oil filter that was installed when I bought the car, the filter I installed days prior, and the filter they installed just the day before. I again brought up the oil filter housing problem I had found in my research. Again they refused to listen to me. I finally got one of their senior technicians to look at the problem, and he put a dye in the oil so they could verify the location of the leak if it was indeed leaking. I was told to drive it for a few day and then return to the dealer. Sure enough it was leaking the next day. I brought the vehicle back for the 3rd time and sure enough the oil filter housing was cracked... Well that part is not in stock. So I took the vehicle home and waited a week for the part to come in. Finally, on my 4th visit to the dealership, they replaced the oil filter housing and the problem was solved! The staff was friendly during the process, but 4 trips to the dealership to fix one problem of which I had given them the solution to on day one is unacceptable. So 3 stars for the friendly staff, and 2 stars off for the countless time I spent going to and from the dealership. More
Jeep maxi warranty service I took my Jeep Wrangler Sahara in for service which was covered under my maxi warranty that I purchased at Papa's Dodge. There was a delay in parts bu I took my Jeep Wrangler Sahara in for service which was covered under my maxi warranty that I purchased at Papa's Dodge. There was a delay in parts but I received support from Jordan and service manager Kyle. They were very helpful and worked with me to organize 2 separate visits to get the work done. I was very pleased with this support. I also had a pleasant experience with the shuttle driver Bob who is an engaging conversationalist. This is a great service provided with the correct person doing the job. Thank you very much! More
Excellent Auto Body Repair Over the last six months or so, we have had the unfortunate luck of having of our two Jeeps (2012 Liberty & 2001 Cherokee) in need of auto body work, Over the last six months or so, we have had the unfortunate luck of having of our two Jeeps (2012 Liberty & 2001 Cherokee) in need of auto body work, a total of three times. After having a pleasant buying experience with Jeromy when we bought our Liberty new at Papa's, we decided to give Papa's Auto Body a try. It was one of the best auto related decisions we ever made. When our meticulously maintained Liberty was rear-ended last summer, we were very upset to see the damage. Upon taking it to Papa's, we were greeted by the auto shop Manager, Noyda, who promptly provided us with an estimate and assured us our vehicle would be restored to pristine condition. Her professionalism, friendly demeanor and coordination of the repairs was outstanding. When the work was completed on our Jeep, we could not have been more pleased. The paint match was exact and the car was detailed and gleaming the same as the day we bought it off the showroom floor. We have since had the need to have two more repairs done to our Jeeps due to minor accidents (none of which were our fault!) and each time the auto body team has gone above and beyond our expectations with their outstanding repair work and customer service. Our sincere thanks and appreciation to the entire Papa's Auto Body team. While we hope we don't have the need for another auto body repair anytime soon, it's great to know that you're there when and if the time comes again. (We wouldn't take it anywhere else & we live over an hour away!) We will be spreading the word about Papa's. Thanks again... Jim & Karen G. Simsbury, CT More
