I went to several dealerships in NJ and none of them seemed interested in my business. I was looking for a truck with specific requirements for the types of firewood deliveries I make. I searched the Commercial Truck Trader site and found several listings for Papa's Dodge in New Britain, CT. I saw one that was similar to what I needed so I called the number and spoke with Frank Montoni, Manager of the Commercial Trucks and Business Link. He listened to my requirements for the truck and then suggested we both speak with Dejana the body manufacturer and installer. We came up with the design and worked through the details together. Frank had a 2014 Ram 5500 Reg. Cab Chassis coming in with all the options I needed and would fit the body Dejana was going to build. We negotiated the price which Frank and Papa's was very fair with me during this process. I worked with Ed Koziol on the financing and he secured a good rate with the commercial credit. I picked up my new truck on Friday, May 23, 2014, I was very happy with the entire process and recommend Papa's Dodge to anyone that needs a commercial truck. One of the worst dealer experiences ever!!! As my lease was expiring on my current vehicle, I started the process of looking at Jeeps, and decided on the Grand Cherokee. I attempted to request quotes from the Jeep website for various dealerships in the greater Hartford area. I began getting emails from the Internet sales guy at Papa's Jeep and was told that they would not provide a quote without me coming into the dealership. Why give someone the ability to request a quote, and then not provide them one. After reviewing their inventory, I found the car I wanted and decided to go in and meet with Evan so I could get a quote. I provided my basic information and shared a coupon I received directly from Chrysler offering me $1,000 off, but they could not find the appropriate code. I was then handed off to Matt, a sales manager, for the financial discussion. Unfortunately, the way he handled this sale is the reason why people don't enjoy the car buying experience. He was extremely arrogant and questioned everything I said! I have been in Sales and Sales Management for the past thirty years and have never treated a customer the way I was treated! Someone needs to remind Matt that there are many dealer options when buying a car, and the total customer experience is what drives people to make decisions, not just price. Unfortunately, his price was very good relative to other prices I received, but I would not do business with them ever. After he gave me the monthly price, I told him it seemed good, and he said it was either better or worse, not seemed. I promptly told him I did not like his attitude and he said that goes both ways. Absolutely unbelievable! My recommendation to everyone considering a new vehicle - find another dealership! More

Even the day of pick up I was surprised with an additional rebate that came across and they applied it to my deal. The whole atmosphere was comfortable and strangely family like. Nothing I have ever seen from a dealership before. The car is great and Ryan made the experience all the better. I recommend if your in the market for a vehicle to give them an opportunity and I am bias because Ryan is my salesperson and I highly recommend him. More

Well worth Trip from Dayton Ohio to Conneticut!!! We live in Dayton Ohio and found two almost identical Mazda5's that met all our needs (...this was just after experiencing the "bait-switch" pricing t We live in Dayton Ohio and found two almost identical Mazda5's that met all our needs (...this was just after experiencing the "bait-switch" pricing tactic from another dealer (online) in Edmond Oklahoma). It was down to Papa's Chrysler in Connecticut and another dealer in Raleigh NC. Papa's was by far the easier and straight forward of the two to contact and deal with. No gimmicks, no bs, super-fast response, Evan was great to deal with. After comparing both near identical cars, we chose Papa's (several hundred miles further) based on my dealings and trust with Evan. It was so worth the trip from Dayton Ohio to Connecticut!
